Well, we got in to Montreal at about 2am yesterday morning and spent most of the day sleeping/exploring the city close by. We got some booze and had downed a pint when we went into the concert that night at 7:30pm. The Mars Volta blew live. They were mixed sooooo poorly and it was just a jumble of noise. They played for about an hour... the only plus side is that a lot of people were smoking pot, so getting high by proxy made the show a little better.

A little past 9, and RHCP took the stage. They completely blew my mind in eveyr possible way. Top notch musicianship from all of them. Everything was perfect. No screw ups in the songs and Anthony wasn't even that bad singing live. They played for, like, 2 hours and did a total mix of everything they've done. Stuff from MM, BSSM, Cali, BTW, SA... it was sweeeeeeet.

After the show, I proceeded to let myself get ripped off on a t-shirt because I wanted one so badly, and then we hit hte bars. We went to this place called the Mad Hatter where we put away pitcher after pitcher (after pitcher after pitcher) of beer. I was totally sloshed by the time we left. And then we went to a strip club. :lol: My friend's cousin wanted us to have the total Montreal experience.

Then we went and ate at some Lebonese place (which was amazing), flagged a cab and ended up back home.

God only knows what tonight will bring. :lol:

damn man. That sounds awesome, like a bachelor party.

Today in my first period class, Organizational Studies, we were watching The Big Lebowski. I don't have a clue why, probably because a lot of the seniors aren't at school today because there's this university fair, but there was no way I was going to argue it because I love that movie.

So the end of the first college unit party is tonight! = Me getting plastered and sleeping in a ditch!

What are all youn plans for teh weekend?

I plan on doing nothing. I'm sure I'll get stoned at least a couple of times, maybe get drunk one night. Other than that... I'll be doing nothing. I do have an urge to watch The Big Lebowski, though, as we only got a bit more than an hour into it in class this morning. Good thing I've got it on DVD. :D

Yeah... that pretty much decribes my typical weekend to.
Although this Saturday I got a gig for some charity event with a cover band. Should be fun, haven't played too many gigs and there will be around 150 people.

You had said that when you saw them, they played a lot of new stuff? When I saw them, it was such a total mix of everything. They played maybe a half dozen new songs out of the 20 that they palyed.
