It's about time someone on this site went pro though, we have so many good guitarist but most of them just record on their own with backing tracks. If we got people like The_Shredder a band they'd probably get a record deal. I used to hang around the guitar forum a lot and people like Shredder and MetalJonus are just plain amazing.

Have you heard Cain? I mentioned that Juice was my favorite Vai song and he uploaded himself playing it for me. It was amazing. The link should still be good maybe in the community thread.

I had this wacky idea last night too. In some messageboards, there are groups, like everyone has the same thing on their user title. I though all the Bodom fans should have HATECREW on their user title. :lol: I get really weird when I'm tired.

A few months ago I downloaded some song supposedly by Norther called Warlord, but it wasn't on any discographies so I figured it wasn't them. After countless lyric searches I found absolutely no matches. I looked on metal archives today cause I recently discovered the great site, and it is actually Norther is was from their demo. It doesn't sound like Norther, you could probably stick this song in Something Wild by Bodom and no one would even notice.

I hate that, when you go around looking for a song because you think it isn't by the right band. Norther does sound a lot like Bodom. I actually thought they were a sideproject or something when I first heard them.

Well I haven't heard too much from Death Unlimited but Mirror of Madness is a great album and really gives them a unique sound from Bodom. It is much slower, melodic, simple, and atmospheric. This song however was one of the first they ever recorded and it was just a Bodom ripoff, but still a good song.

I don't have any of their albums. I just have the songs people have uploaded me here. After I buy my guitar I plan on buying one of theirs, Kalmah, Stratovarius and Imperanon. Maybe Wintersun too.

DXMG is a nice guitar, I've got the KE3. Only one of those songs you listed from Norther is from Mirror of Madness, and it's pretty much known as the best album. Blackhearted is one of my favorite songs off the album, they all have melodic piano like that. Maybe I'll put the album on a zip and upload it to you so you don't have to buy it.
