I'm really considering starting up a lyrical/songwriting website... the only one I know of that is of any real size is musesmuse, and that's full of middle-aged folks from the Southern states writing country songs.
Whaddya reckon?
Quoted for probably not being seen because of the page jump. opinionsplzkthxbi |
Starting sites never works.
|
I dunno - there's certainly a spot for it. Get a decent domain, a decent circle of users, and advertise in the right places, and who knows...

If my stay on MX has taught me anything, it's that it's a hell of a lot more complicated than that. |
How so? I'm aware of the initial 'getting more than 15 users' problem, if that was what you were referring to?
|
Hawthorne Heights has the worst lyrics/band ever.
|
Hawthorne Heights has the worst lyrics/band ever.
While they are undoubtebly horrifyingly terrible, Skindred is still worse. Plus, you TOTALLY like FATA! Hahahaha! |
No, Hawthorne Heights are owned by Story Of The Year in the 'worst band ever' stakes.
|

...which still means they're crap, in all honesty. Did you not hear "Until the Day I Die"?
I'm staying well out of the 'what bands do you listen to' debate. |
What's your opinion on Norma Jean? I like 'em. 'O God the Aftermath is better than Bless the Martyr though.
What (in your opinion) is the best song on Miss Machine? Number 5 (dunno the title), and number 2 (dunno the title either). |
Norma Jean? I have no opinion on them whatsoever. In fact, I'm not even sure I've heard anything by them more than once.
|
'O God the Aftermath is a very dynamic album.
|
Norma Jean is way overrated, Miss Machine is not even close to DEP's best record.
LISTEN TO CALCULATING INFINITY DAMMIT |
Fine, fine, I'll DL it right now. :D
Does it have Monticello on it? |
No.
|
Ah, that's my favorite DEP song.
|
"Monticello" is like way worse than almost every song on CI.
|
Like I said, downloading.
|
Have you at least heard "Sugar Coated Sour" or "43%"?
|
Yup.
|
WELL
That's like a million times better than anything on Machine. And CI is all just like that except it just continues kicking ass. |
I couldn't get Clip The Apex or Variations on a Cocktail Dress.
|
Clip The Apex is like one of the best songs IMO.

LISTEN TO CALCULATING INFINITY DAMMIT
that post summed up my response to the last two pages. thxsd\ sup? |
CI is only missing Clip The Apex now :\.
|
You need Clip, it's got the best guitar breaks on the entire album.
|
I'm trying, and but in the meantime I've been correcting the info for most of the songs on my playlist.
