sorry and thanks

I downloaded the Morning Glory album "This Is No Time Ta Sleep". It didn't really do much for me. I don't know. I was turned off after listening to "Fuck World Trade" once, but I like it more every time I hear it.

I have the No Cash cd "Run Your Pockets". I haven't listened to it all in one sitting. I hate trying to listen to new music and breaking it up. Unless I listen to it all at once while I'm not doing anything else, I forget everything about it.

AIRIC 10-10-2005 01:17 PM

Morning Glory are probably the best LoC side project.

albert_bass 10-10-2005 03:17 PM

Not just probably.

ScuzzBucket89 10-10-2005 03:34 PM

To be honest, I think I like American Distress more then Morning Glory

KingOfSka 10-10-2005 04:09 PM

American Distress > InDK > Morning Glory > Choking Victim > Leftover Crack

This is truth, if you say otherwise, you're a moron.

The only songs that really caught my attention by Morning Glory are So Ya Wanna Be A Cop, Gimme Heroin and Gang Control. Everything else i've heard was just mehh

Nerdcore753 10-10-2005 04:57 PM

I didn't have a ride to see LoC yesterday. :(

AIRIC 10-10-2005 05:09 PM

Walk.

Nerdcore753 10-10-2005 05:29 PM
Walk.
I was feeling a little to lazy to walk 57 miles.

Brain Toad 10-10-2005 05:33 PM

Putting InDK above Morning Glory is just wrong. InDK are nothing special, they are kind of boring.

AIRIC 10-10-2005 05:51 PM

InDK ruin the whole CRS7+Ska thing anyway.

So last night I saw Leftover Crack w/ Stockyard Stotics, the Applicators, and Last Target.

It wass hell waiting through a Japanese classic metal cover band, and a Distillers ripoff band from Texas, to get to Stotics.

They came on, and were really good, and played a couple ska songs that got pretty good skank pits going.

AND THEN...Leftover Crack.

They come out and play Homeo Apathy, with the crowd (which about tripled in size, somehow, and sold out, which is amazing because up untill half way through the Stotic's set there were only like 200 people) yelling along with the good, the bad, and the Leftover Crack. Then they played Nazi White Trash, then Stza says "this is our themesong, its about killing cops and burning down churches." and they play Good, Bad, and LoC. Then they play gang control, everybody in the place skanks, or attempts to. At this point Stza just passes out, he must have been incredibly f'ucked up, and the rest of the band have to basically force him to get up and sing, it was pretty funny. Set list included Crack Rock Steady (with minus man hillariously trying to do popeye while Ezra laughs at him), 500 Channels, S.T.I., Heroin or Suicide, Feed the Children, Rock the 40oz., Life is Pain, One Dead Cop, Athiest Anthem, Born To Die, Infested, Can't Go Home, and more that escape me. It was really badass, because a couple of my friends stood off to the side of the stage while the rest of us pitted, and Ezra kept giving us water, so I was very hydrated the whole time. Afterwords this kid ran up on stage and threw water at Stza, so he grabbed the bottle, poured it all over him, chucked it at him, spit on him , and walked off. Afterwords we went back and said it was a great show, my girlfriend told Stza she wanted his babies and he laughed, and Ezra gave us the set list.

Overall, f'ucking ace show, definatly in my top three. And on top of that, mucho cheap merch, 2 patches for 2 bucks, a bunch of pins for a buck, 3 dollar backpatches, 10 dollar shirts, cheap cd's.

Oh and Stza has a badass tatoo like the 50 cent Thug Life one, but is says Bug Life with a pentagram in front of it.

They seem to have played the exact same set list from when I saw them over the summer minus Gang Control...

Liebensaft 10-11-2005 02:13 PM

Ahhhhhhh. Jealousy is seeping from my pores. I'd love to see LOC, and I was wondering if they played CV songs at their shows. My question is answered.
InDK ruin the whole CRS7+Ska thing anyway.
Exactly, and they are pretty boring. I haven't heard American Distress though.

AIRIC 10-11-2005 02:27 PM

American Distress are boring too.

Brain Toad 10-11-2005 03:04 PM

American Distress is meh, but better then InDK I think.

smokersdieyounger 10-11-2005 03:57 PM

I want to see leftover crack alot, I hope they play wasted next year.

With Antimaniax? You have to take pictures.

Just take a disposable camera and snap a few while you're in the pit.
