Osgood Schlatter's. Something like that.

Joe, I don't think I'll end up meeting you. My mom's being gay about me going to a concert in a foreign country, let alone with a stranger from the interweb. Sorry to disappoint. I'm just hoping I still go at this point.

Rise Me Up 03-17-2006 08:19 PM

The Mad Caddies kind of suck. Or this album I'm listening to does.

Liebensaft 03-17-2006 08:23 PM

Which album? I like them.

Rise Me Up 03-17-2006 08:25 PM

Just One More.

TakeWarning 03-17-2006 08:29 PM

I never listen to the Mad Caddies anymore.

Meh, not that great anyway.

Anti-Prefix 03-17-2006 09:10 PM

Rock the Plank was good.

Liebensaft 03-17-2006 09:19 PM

Duck for Cover and Quality Soft Core are both better I think. Try them.

DaveToopes 03-17-2006 09:49 PM

Joe #2, why don't you meet Joe once you get to the concert?

Brain Toad 03-17-2006 10:03 PM

Mad Caddies

Rise Me Up 03-17-2006 10:25 PM

The album I have is just crappy pop punk.

DUDE, ****ING ZOMBIE BAZOOKA PATROL and LAS CRUCES TOUR THIS JULY. We're playing, like, 8 Florida dates. Come or die.

I'm not a big fan of the idea of seeing Blink 182 and Alexisonfire albums every time I visit the punk forum.

I think we should comlain.

sketchyjoe 03-18-2006 10:08 AM

I've really been digging The Orphans lately. They're Erik Petersen's pre-Mischief Brew band. It's not as good as Mischief Brew but it is solid orignal political punk rock. The songs Outwitted, Raise the Youth, and Big Brother, Bigger Mother are all great punk songs with the former bearing a ska tinge and you can really see Mischief Brew in the songs, What Reason Have They To Dance?, Anorexic Mind and For an Old Kentucky Anarchist which are probably the best on the album.

Flagjacket 03-18-2006 10:11 AM

I know a band called the Orphans ecept they sound nothing like you described.
Mad Caddies
I know exactly what you mean.

sketchyjoe 03-18-2006 10:38 AM

So there's another new forum I'll only visit once in a million years. I'm so excited.

Is it too early to start a forum war with pop/pop-rock?

RetiredAt21 03-18-2006 10:39 AM

No.
Joe #2, why don't you meet Joe once you get to the concert?
Well, first I was just going to ask someone on their way in to say I was with them to avoid the rule against 16 and unders having to be accompanied. That seemed like it'd be really easy. Then I remembered Joe was going and I figured I might as well meet an MX'er if I'm going to be in the same building. My parents both seem to reject the idea of making any kind of contact with anyone from the internet, which I really can't blame them for. But I can't seem to understand why they'd be against me asking someone on their way in to "escort" me. Ghey indeed.

DaveToopes 03-18-2006 11:02 AM

I'm saying that you should meet once you are INSIDE the concert!!

Liebensaft 03-18-2006 11:03 AM

Oh. Well, I'd do it if I can go.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 03-18-2006 11:11 AM

Hey guys.

DaveToopes 03-18-2006 11:12 AM

G'morning Jack.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 03-18-2006 11:13 AM

I made a thread about Allanis Morisette in pop.

Liebensaft 03-18-2006 11:13 AM

Punx.
