V0 is a variable bitrate for mp3, think in terms of V1, V2, V3 gradually decreasing in quality.

if 320kbps is the highest lossy mp3 quality you can get V0 is the equivalent, it just removes frequencies of unnecessary silence that nobody can hear so files are remarkably smaller.

320 kbps - V0
192 kbps - V2
128 kbps - V3

etc. Aaron, V0 files aren't that big, an average sized album is only 73 mb. A 48 minute long track might only be 2 thirds of that. I pretty much download nothing but V0.

The Trashcan Sinatras on Live At The Basement right now, really nice, reminds me a tad of Art Of Fighting / Big Heavy Stuff. Maybe not soundalikes but would certainly share a stage nicely.
