eff that

dei 08-27-2007 12:21 AM

I am listening to the new Beirut album and it's not bad.

Anus Invader 08-27-2007 12:25 AM

listening to Gulag Orkestar sort of makes me feel nauseous... i like it but the sound reminds me of smog and humidity or something, just sort of makes me feel uncomfortable.. so i have to be in the mood and i cant really listen to it for extended periods.

dei 08-27-2007 12:33 AM

The Good Life has a new album coming out, too. :(

sgrevs 08-27-2007 02:54 AM

I just listened to Wowee Zowee for the second time ever, and I think it may become my favourite Pavement album in a few weeks.

Apocalyptic Raids 08-27-2007 03:51 AM

Great album.

Glitterati 08-27-2007 06:34 AM

It's a damn good album but it's not "Kings Of Crunk".

Kyle 08-27-2007 09:47 AM

Just got back from Reading Festival, LCD Soundsystem and Tokyo Police Club were amazing. Devendra Banhart was kinda boring live and I don't like Cold War Kids.

dei 08-27-2007 09:49 AM

I don't like LCD Soundsystem.

Apocalyptic Raids 08-27-2007 09:50 AM

I've only heard Daft Punk Is Playing At My House and some other track. It's okay, found it slightly boring.

dei 08-27-2007 09:53 AM

I don't like albums.
I've only heard Daft Punk Is Playing At My House and some other track. It's okay, found it slightly boring.
Yeah, that's not really the best sample. You should definately try the new album.

Anxious 08-27-2007 10:36 AM

No, LCD Sound System just suck.

ATM 08-27-2007 11:09 AM

I liked them live.
Just quit my job...

yea.
What happened?

Boilermaker 08-27-2007 11:38 AM

I worked at the library for a good part of last year and this summer, and I decided it would be too tough to hold up fall sports and the work schedule would've been too demanding since they only had two shelvers (they'll be getting some more soon though I guess.) But they said that if I wanted to come back working there I could. I might because it was a pretty easy/good job.

dei 08-27-2007 11:43 AM

Yeah, the library seems like a nice place to work. It's quiet. I should probably look into getting a job there, I need money.

Boilermaker 08-27-2007 11:51 AM

The only thing that kinda sucked was that I was payed only a little above minimum wage. Also, it's so quite that if you work more than 4 hours your brain really starts to fry.

dei 08-27-2007 11:53 AM

I like quiet.

masada 08-27-2007 01:03 PM

library > sports

dei 08-27-2007 01:40 PM

I like sports.

sweboy 08-27-2007 02:42 PM

"Good albums" is a pretty broad category. What kind of shit are you looking for? Brain-melting or soul-piercing?

StaticSynth 08-27-2007 02:43 PM

jet set radio ost
