I dont have TWNAH wats everyones opinion of that?

Chu 08-22-2006 09:54 PM

I like it. The whole album is good.

Then again, I like Risk :smoke:

FatalEnergy 08-22-2006 10:52 PM

Ewwwww.

That is all.

pate 08-22-2006 11:05 PM

I hate risk, but like TWNAH a lot.

Nepenthe 08-22-2006 11:06 PM

TWNAH has it's moments, Risk, on the other hand, does not.

pate 08-23-2006 12:01 AM

Exactly.

eug008 08-23-2006 01:31 AM

Quorthonace said it, I'm not really a fan of either albums but TWNAH>Risk

jane 08-23-2006 02:54 AM

TWNAH > Youthanasia

eug008 08-23-2006 03:04 AM

No Way, Youth is quite a solid album while TWNAH is not

Apocalyptic Raids 08-23-2006 03:08 AM

I haven't heard Youthanasia.

TWNAH is kinda average, though.

jane 08-23-2006 03:09 AM

Almost all youthanasia's songs are ballades.

eug008 08-23-2006 03:12 AM

Are you kidding? 2 or 3 of the albums 12 songs are ballads, I agree that a fair number sound a bit ballady but their actually not (thats what I think anyway)

jane 08-23-2006 10:26 AM
I like it. The whole album is good.

Yes, risk is good

I like every thing from dave mustaine

I downloaded the md54 album (dave mustaine with another band in 1996) last week : its not metal, but still kicks a**

Jev 08-23-2006 10:30 AM

yeah it's pretty cool.

ps. Md.45 :p

victim of changes 08-23-2006 02:07 PM

bought that a few months ago its pretty good.

Chu 08-23-2006 05:54 PM

Dave Mustaine in a non-metal band?!

I'll have to check it out... :p

victim of changes 08-23-2006 10:36 PM

its metal but its nothing like megadeth

eug008 08-24-2006 01:13 AM

Are you guys talking about the normal or re-mastered version (the normal version dosen't have Mustaine on vocals), cause I reckin the other guys vocals are horrid

jane 08-24-2006 02:06 AM
Are you guys talking about the normal or re-mastered version (the normal version dosen't have Mustaine on vocals), cause I reckin the other guys vocals are horrid
In my version, its dave who sings

Jev 08-24-2006 02:59 AM

I haven't heard the Md.45 with Dave singing. When I first heard it I was like  Mustaine can sing like this? Before I realised it was another guy.

jane 08-24-2006 05:34 AM

MD45 is something like punk, or hard rock

Meatplow 08-24-2006 05:39 AM

Okay someone recommend me a Megadeth song that will blow my socks off.

jane 08-24-2006 05:46 AM

Meatplow 08-24-2006 05:49 AM
.... In three words : All Megadeth dicography
Heh thanx. Will get there in time been meaning to for quite a while.

eug008 08-24-2006 06:07 AM

I'd go for somthing off Rust In Peace, the whole album is pretty much god

Meatplow 08-24-2006 06:09 AM

I've listened to Peace Sells a fair bit and songs like Sweating Bullets and Tornado of Souls, which i quite like.

eug008 08-24-2006 06:11 AM

Do you prefer the Thrashier or Metal"ier" songs?

jane 08-24-2006 07:20 AM
Heh thanx. Will get there in time been meaning to for quite a while.
It was a hard question

adamstartin 08-24-2006 08:19 AM

I think countdown to extinction or the system has failed are my favourites. Rust in peace is ok, but the other two are just brilliant.

victim of changes 08-24-2006 01:21 PM

Countdown and TSHF are my two most listened Megadeth albums at the moment.

Jev 08-24-2006 01:23 PM

I haven't listened to CTE in ages. It's a shame, it's a great album.

Drone 08-24-2006 02:22 PM

Billboard.com as well as Blabbermouth have been spreading possibilities of United Abominations being pushed back to 2007...:(.

Aw3someman 08-24-2006 06:12 PM

UA has been pushed back to november/December.

FatalEnergy 08-24-2006 09:07 PM

where did you hear that?

Chu 08-24-2006 09:38 PM

I haven't been listenning to Killing is my Business/Peace Sells/SFSGSW recently. I've discovered a love for the other 'Deth records though, each one has awesome songs.

playguitar 08-24-2006 09:48 PM

Listen to Rust in Peace first then Peaces sells if your want to get into Megadeth. The other albums are good, but those have the strongest material on them, and no duds. KIMB, has worse production, overall just less memorable songs, and SFSGS has a few duds (502, Anarchy), and so does CTE (Physcotron). RIP rules!!!!

eug008 08-25-2006 12:51 AM

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=56952

This sucks so bad

victim of changes 08-25-2006 12:17 PM

Thats not too much of a wait, just hope the dave does what he needs to do.

Jev 08-25-2006 03:58 PM

Sucks that it's been pushed back.
Oh well, at least I can pick it up at the same time as the new Metallica CD.

Tyr 08-25-2006 04:03 PM

I hope it takes priority over Metallica when you will listen to the albums.
