That sucks man. That's good that they're being mature about it though, and they're not completely giving up yet.

that's sucks about the late notice they've given you. however, it's sounds like it'll probably be for the best. it's hard to stay together with someone for so long and not get bothered by them eventually.

hopefully the saying, "distance (or is it absence?) makes the heart grow fonder," proves true.

yeah it didn't hit me too hard tbh. i deal with kids' parents getting divorces all the time at my work, so i'm kind of de-sensitized to it.


right after my mom told me i thought to myself "oh, i better burn the music i downloaded on his laptop to cds tonight."


it's all good though. he's still going to pay his part of our mortgage and everything, so we don't have to move. and i see him like twice a week during the spring/summer anyways, so it won't be a huge difference.

Sucks hard. Are you pissed or sad? I didnt even see it coming when my parents split. My mom and dad just starting fighting on the friday and my mom left on the sunday, lame. My dad basically told my mom to leave, which is lame because he always says "the reason why your mother left blah blah blah..." and yeah i just sorta wanna slap him in the face for being so hard headed.

i think it's crazy how many people have parents who have split. i'm fortunate enough to have both of my parent still together, although they have had some rough times in the past - pretty rough times.

tbh i'm impartial. i think it's a mixture of my age and that i'm used to witnessing messy divorces, but i'm just like "you guys are old enough to make decisions for yourself, be happy."

they almost split like 10 years ago and i was furious, but now it isn't a huge deal. or maybe i'm just not taking it all in yet.
