So the new neck core is out of clamps and I am pretty happy with it.

Well it got taken out of clamps all of a few hours ago, and it looks pretty crap at this point.

Basically it is still uneven from the glueing and still have residual glue leak out all over it, so I will post pictures on Sunday once it has been run through the thicknesser planer and you can see the 9 laminate pieces.

It is looking good though, just going to have to take my word for that I guess.

I have also redesigned the headstock to a bit of a simpler one, but it still looks good in my book, will also try to get a picture of that considering I now longer have access to a scanner. (New job is the casue of that)

So my boss phoned earlier. The gist of the phone conversation was that someone in a department that I don't work in (but used to) needs help doing the weekly setup on Sunday morning. So instead of working at noon on Sunday, I get to go in at 8am! Huzzah! That just makes me so happy, considering I'll be working an additional 20 hours next week, and about 40 the week after, all because of a huge-a[size=2]ss[/size] sale.

And, naturally, it's totally irrelevant that I have a f[size=2]ucking[/size] huge amount of school work to do, and that I haven't hung out with friends in weeks, since I've pretty much become a social recluse in order to get my school work done. And I've been depressed for the last 4 days because of the weather changes and all the anxiety in my life, so it just keeps piling up.

And all this boils down to is my inability to say no to people.

I've managed to get myself suspended from working for the next 2 weeks.
I see it as a vacation.

I hate crunch time with school. So much gets pushed into a couple of weeks.

I need to find a topic that I can bulls[size=2]hit[/size] 10 pages out of for my science and religion class. I'm thinking maybe of doing Pascal's Wager.

I'm back bitches! I am back from my long hiatus so all 4 of you that still remeber me can cry for joy that my presence will once again fill the pages of these forums. It's good to see that the forums are still going strong and that some of the vets haven't abandoned it.

Benjammin... don't really know you but make sure that you take care of yourself before giving into others. There is a fine line between working hard and working an unhealthy amount. I know I did it for two years in high school and it about killed me.

Hah, yeah, I know I need to take care of myself. However, I need money too, and my job is low paying and I can't afford to take a lot of time off. It's not normally this bad, it's only this time of year where things get so heavy. Unfortunately, it's a bad time for school work too, being the end of the semester.

See, in March, I could do this, but this time of year at my work place is the single biggest sale of the year, where everyone works and they work a lot. To take that time off is to pretty much lose your job.

Ouch, I'm glad I've cut down my work hours to two shifts a week.

I get paid plenty per hour anyhow. I love being Union.

And I love Burger King, 10 hours per week of being a supervisor at £6.10 an hour = rich Alex.

I'm working for a measely $7.25/hour.

I love working at the paper office...



(makes 40$ in about an hour and a half, most of which is spent outside chatting and smoking cigarettes...)

I can't help that the restaurant it Unionized.
It's a good and bad thing.

Pros:
- Money
- Managers need a good reason to fire you
- Benefits (barely any)

Cons:
- Union fees :(
- Managers needing a good reason to fire people. (there are some terrible employees at white spot, some people are 2 IQ points above retardation)
- Salary Cap
