If you actually listened to the songs, right before they play Necrophobic, Tom says something like "Sorry this is our first time playing BIRMINGHAM" and then he said stuff like "it was the record companies fault"

So obviously you're not even listening to the music :amaze:

SLATANIC-666 03-06-2005 05:49 PM
Actually, they were in England in 1987 according to the Soundtrack To The Apocalypse booklet.

Hope you have a good time at the show! :)
I believe they played in England before '87, on the Hell Awaits tour in London at the Marquee, Tom says something in the Soundtrack' booklet about having to drive stick shift and being spat on in England and I'm sure it was on their first European tour '84-'85ish

It's pretty good, Under Siege is the best part, a concert from the Arise tour, maybe another song from Schizo would have been nice but other than that:thumb:, the second Video is a collection of thier videos up until Chaos AD, which has 3 decent clips (Dead Embryonic Cells, Arise, Inner Self) and the rest are from Chaos AD and the next one is the three Roots videos and has the band explaing stuff about them.

It's worth it for the Under Siege video alone, even if that part is a little short.

Sounds interesting, and I shall look into it asap.

Thanks for the description :thumb:

Is it me or did it seem like there was little or no security on 'Under Siege'? I think the stage got rushed several times and some fucker spoiled the solo on Beneath the Remains

I think its on the Refuse/Resist video where its just some crazy Brazilian riot... so looks like they are crazy.

**** man I'm so hyper. I don't know why I am, but I gave Enemy of God a spin in my Cd player, but I crave some harder and heavier thrash now >_<

I must satisfy my hunger for wildness...

Freezing Moon 03-07-2005 08:27 PM

I just got Sodom - "Persecution Mania" and "Expurse Of Sodomy" in a trade on AIM.

I like it so far, what do you guys think of 'em?

NP: Sodom - Nuclear Winter

ThrashMaster27 03-07-2005 08:37 PM

Sodom are good. Very solid band....I'm not to keen on their really early material mind you. The 'In The Sign of Evil' EP and 'Obsessed By Cruelty' are pretty dodgy, but good in parts.

ForiegnPenguin 03-07-2005 09:06 PM

I love Persecution Mania and agree with what Thrashmaster said about In the Sign of Evil/Obsessed by Cruelty.

SLATANIC-666 03-08-2005 02:03 AM

*bump*

NP: Slayer - Reborn

ArcLite 03-08-2005 02:10 AM

What's the next best Slayer album to Reign in Blood and Seasons?

NP: Carcass - Heartwork

ThrashMaster27 03-08-2005 02:22 AM

Show No Mercy. Then South of Heaven and Hell Awaits.

Mind you, I'd pick all of them ahead of RiB and Seasons In The Abyss.
