I would be helping my Dad remodel our barn, it's fine work but I'm trying to get a job I can keep through the school year and let's me stay in Seattle where most all of my friends are.

last night of camp, i get to drive a bunch of 16 year olds to ihop at 1:30 in the morning and then they get to stay up all night

Yeah it is, but it's not ideal mostly because I need to find work that I can continue during the school year, and my parents would prefer for me to be able to make money without them having to supply the salary essentially, since they are going to have me and my sister going to college and need us to be more financially independant.

If I don't find anything within the first two weeks or so I'll probably go back and work a few days with them while I continue looking since it's there and better than nothing.

high schoolers are so dumb

waiting for my sister to get home to grill her about everything she did tonight, check my car mileage to prove her wrong and then ultimately not really care because she's a boss
