|
I been drumming since about 3pm and its now 5.30pm and ive been having an awsome session!
Ive learnt loads. I retuned my snare a bit so its got a lovely high crack! I made up an awsome paradiddle groove on my cowbells jam block snare bass and hats!!! (Was awsome fun) I grooved like alittle bitch for about 30mins nonstop! I worked through alot of my grade books playing all the songs well. Then at the end i sat down on the pad and did some rudiments and **** for about 20 mins to cool down. I even broke a sweat at the solo i did at the end which was pretty long and awsome. Damn today was good and so was the chicken! Hahah nice chippy ;) |
I swear I havn't drummed all week.
I tried like an hour ago But my sister told me to stop after 5 minutes. |
sounds like fun
|
sure it does?
|
to pure.
but yea, its real hard to get a good practice in with drums, unless no one is home with me. but i still annoy them at the least 15 minutes a day. |
Im gonna go kick my drums *** again! c ya
|
My moms been sick most of the week so that's why I haven't been playing.
I love it when my sister tell me to stop from the living room while I'm playing. after about 5 minutes of that she like actually gets up and tells me to stop. |
wut
Somebody said that a couple pages before that post so i thought i'd pass it on. |

Nobody has ever complained about my playing at reasonable times in the day. From 9AM to 9 PM i can play as loud as i want and for as long as i want. Neighbors haven't said anything for two and a half years about it. If they did say anything it would be that they liked hearing it. Also, we were jamming with two guitar half stacks and a bass half stack with my drums at 9:30 PM once and nobody complained. Then again being surrounded by concrete and tools doesn't help the acoustics much... |
AFI concert tonight :D

below zero F or C? Actually... it doesn't matter, that's so cold! It's 10:30am, and 83 degrees F here. With a nice warm breeze. |
I haven't had college all week so I've been at home, alone practicing :D
Tis weird, even though in total I must've gotten in around 4-6 hours of practice, it never feels like enough or asthough I've made any progress. I guess progress is a gradual thing. When I think back to what I could I do at the start of the week I realise just how much I have actually learned. So its all good. I have another near solid week of practicing coming up.... |

Mine is 100% of the time above zero and probably easy to break into.
|
Wood lathe, ruler, protractor, pencil, drill with a variety of drill bits, glue, patience, technical knowledge, sandpaper, ruber
|
Out comes a lovely custom snare.

Kae so. I dont have a lathe. Should I order a keller shell now? |
No, you're an emo, you think you can do stuff which takes time.
Give up now, get your GCSE in RM, and then come back and ask me how to make a snare drum. |
Hows it going maniac?
http://ebaumsworld.com/2007/02/tower-defense.html This game is awsome! |
Well, What can use that would take the place of a lathe? |
3 vampires walk into a bar, first one goes up and orders a pint of steaming hot blood. barman gets it for him.
second vampire orders the same. again the barman gets it. 3rd vampire walks up and says "i'll have a cup of boiling water please". barman goes "why the hell do ya want that!!??" the vampire pulls out a used tampon and says "i brought me own teabag" :P |
