Ahhhh Sinking Ships is soooo good. NYC has pretty awful local bands... we only have the tough guy/mosh bands.

I prefer the bands from DC than most of those from NYC.

I can't exactly be 'part of the scene' and stuff like that. I can't go up into London to go to shows unless it's with an adult, as all the shows have age restrictions. (16 mostly)

Yeah. Caliban are one of the best European bands at the moment.

Don't really care for Caliban. I think All Else Failed, bleeding Kansas, Haste, Turmoil & Maroon are their best bands.

Going back to the Isor thing, I just asked an 18 year old friend of if they knew them and he said that they had played a gig with them in Kentish Town; amazing!

Apparently they slayed and the guitarist had a cordless guitar so he went out on to the street, stopping cars and playing whilst everyone could hear him inside.

I think they have a very good sound for only 2 people.

Are they big enough to start touring America on a large scale? I'm not so sure, unless their new album is a hit.
