yeah totally dont show off enough

adb 11-09-2008 03:28 PM

they do have some good riffage once in awhile, but its bogged down by the classic overruse of breakdowns to keep the pit bros like you satisfied

yeah man I mean **** bands who dont have atleast 30840132840394 dweedles in a song.

alytee123 11-09-2008 04:56 PM

Does anyone know the correct tracklisting for the new Beneath The Massacre, cause I've seen different tracklistings when I compare on lyric sites etc

encmetalhead 11-09-2008 05:11 PM

The Red Shore DVD Audio Rip ( http://www.mediafire.com/?ldmye3kmnnf )

They actually don't have any big breakdowns that get annoying, like Winds of Plague, White Chapel, Suicide Silence, Carnifex, As Blood Runs Black, etc do. Just smaller quick ones, that really don't seem to be easily identified by the casual listener. At least I haven't heard any longer breakdowns (think 30+ seconds) from them, but I've got to give the new songs a better listen first.

hismajestythepope 11-09-2008 06:06 PM

the red shore's breakdowns are really good also.

Pebster49 11-09-2008 10:56 PM

new The Red Shore album is pretty good, got a tech death aspect to it

adb 11-09-2008 11:01 PM

its nothing more than a 3/5, why even bother with watered down tech death

Volt2187 11-09-2008 11:10 PM

Wouldn't the new The Faceless be considered watered down tech death? It wasn't anything special sounding to me, especially compared to their first cd.

adb 11-09-2008 11:16 PM

I'd consider one song on PD to be watered down (Sons of Belial ) because of the chugging, but the rest is not. The riffs are there, the vocals, drums, etc. are too.
Please for the love of god stop comparing the two. Comparing Burning the Masses and The Red Shore would be a way better comparison.

hismajestythepope 11-10-2008 01:04 AM

gay argument is gay.

i was listening to idwr earlier, elite.

alytee123 11-10-2008 08:39 AM

XenoChrist is an absolute stormer!

HighandDriving 11-10-2008 10:10 AM

Wow Asdemonsburn is actually laying down a good arguement, I'd also agree that Sons of Belial is the weakest track on PD.

hismajestythepope 11-10-2008 02:39 PM

yo who cares the faceless is gay

not really

Definition of watered down Tech Death is PD.

Volt2187 11-10-2008 02:43 PM

Yeah I don't know what the **** I thought I was listening to, but I gave the new The Faceless another listen and find it quite good, and personally better than Akeldama.

2muchket! 11-10-2008 02:45 PM

Wasn't that difficult to better Akdeldama really.

But srs take it to the DM thread they really don't belong here.

Volt2187 11-10-2008 02:46 PM

Well, I found a demo of The Faceless, and it sounds kinda Deathcoreish, nothing like PD. :P

HighandDriving 11-10-2008 02:59 PM

What's the demo called?

adb 11-10-2008 03:08 PM

its just a demo w/ Ghost of a Stranger and Leica on it. I've never heard it.
I think they have a really old demo version of An Autopsy too.

HighandDriving 11-10-2008 03:09 PM

Imma try n find that ****, I'm a sucker for demo versions.

Volt2187 11-10-2008 03:28 PM

Its called Nightmare Fest. Not sure if I can post this link, but here it is anways: http://disv3.blogspot.com/2008/11/faceless-nightmare-fest-demo-2006.html

O and All Dark Graves is also on it. Sounds weird and way inferior without the keys.

HighandDriving 11-10-2008 03:40 PM

Thanks Imma dl that when I get home.

Edit: There are some (weak) keys and it doesn't even sound much like Derek but I'd imagine it is.

Volt2187 11-10-2008 08:25 PM

No. I didn't realize they had other songs prior to the Akeldama tracks.

botb 11-10-2008 08:47 PM

i have a couple and they're extremely different. they're like mad hardcore influenced.

Pebster49 11-11-2008 01:49 AM
