My Metropolis 2000 DVD is broken :(
It stops at Through Her Eyes.
Get a new one...it's just incredible

As far as the CD goes, I listen to all three disks at least once a week.

That album is just...wow. The setlist is perfect.

Lord Abortion 04-12-2006 09:33 AM

Yeah, I would replace the mirror, just let me breathe and acid rain with hollow years, take away my pain and Lie...then it would be the best concert ever.

Meh, Lie I'd defnitly agree with, but I like the way they do Acid Rain (you're a singer, so I see why you don't.) If they did Hollow Years like at Budokan, it would be the best concert ever.

Lord Abortion 04-12-2006 10:00 AM

I like Acid rain, I'd just prefer another song...

NP-Radiohead-Exit music(for a film)

wait...acid rain, on a dvd? someone please explain this to me.

LasagneFtw! 04-12-2006 10:06 AM
I think he actually plays it almost exclusively on LTE2, and on some of the songs on LTE1.
eh, he used it alot, but certainly not for everything. john and one of the other guys (mike?) said tony would bring in something different almost every time he showed up.

he played a 5string fretless on Biaxident.

Just the CD version of live scenes from New York...they play some stuff that couldn't fit on the DVD from the second set of the night, some of which is in the bonus features.(A mind beside itself, learning to live, a change of seasons)

The extra songs are

Metropolis pt 1
The Mirror
Just let me breathe
Acid rain
Caught in a web/new millenium medley
Another day
Rudess keyboard solo.

Welcome, by the way :)

Indeed we are.

Jev 04-12-2006 12:30 PM

Ah right.

I get confused when I hear people talk about DT doing Acid Rain. I think it's another song i haven't heard.

speaking of, biaxident is one of my favorite LTE songs. i love the piano bits. to be honest, i think JR's playing to be far superior to JP's on the LTE albums.

i stil have to see learning to live and ACOS on the DVD, ill get to it later :] im excited for LTL.

ghettoeddo 04-12-2006 03:37 PM

some stupdi people have already released concert clips of the 4-1 show on youtube >:-| where is the sanctity in all this?!

with that said, i watched them ><

Lord Abortion 04-12-2006 03:44 PM

Hourglass is my favourite LTE song...beautiful.

bwnstl 04-12-2006 04:05 PM

ghettoeddo 04-13-2006 12:01 AM

i have the video version of it on the comp, not the audio.

Oh, ok.

Did you vote yet in the R&Mer of the Year thread yet?

Chu 04-13-2006 03:23 AM

I was listening to Metropolis Part 1 from Live Scenes From New York... I think it's so much better then on Images and Words, James' singing especially imo (He's more clear.. If that makes sense..).

GenuineImitation 04-13-2006 08:32 AM

I think Metropolis Part 1 on the Radio City Music Hall DVD/CD will rival or surpass it. THey orchestra really added a new element to it.

Josh 04-13-2006 08:53 AM

i think pretty much everything on LSFNY sounds better than in the studio.

and Acid Rain is cool.

Everything apart from that part where there's too much delay on the guitars in DOE.

i hadn't really noticed that. i need to listen to that album again though, i think.

i love the bit in Acid Rain where it goes "ooooooh, shake that thing momma". i had that on in the car the other day, my sister thought it was hellish random.

Jev 04-13-2006 11:12 AM

I love DT's sound clips live.
