Neil Young- War of Man, hey hey my my (or was it the other way around> which one was electric?
Zeppelin- Babe i'm gonna leave you.
Eric Clapton- The entire unplugged album :p
Especially Tears in Heaven-Not too hard

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 05:56 PM

Yup. I just learned to play it (the whole thing, verses, fills, course, bridge and all). It was kind of hard, learning the entire thing and all. Mostly it was the new chords that gave me trouble.

Yeah, I actually know 3 songs of unplugged, Tears, Layla and before you accuse me. I wil know go and get the tabs for babe I'm gonna leave you.

Broken Arrow 09-23-2004 05:57 PM

Babe Im gonna Leave You isnt that hard but playing it fast I find can be quite difficult.

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 05:57 PM

I know Babe i'm gonna leave you too :)

*stupid 9 months of acoustic guitar before I got an electric :(*

Playing it soon becomes automatic, a good way to start my fingerpicking, now I am learning the last bit of Vincent by Don McLean

jpj 09-23-2004 06:23 PM

Bron-Yr-Aur, babe im gonna leave you, going to california, and happy jack(acoustic version)

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 06:25 PM

Yes I know. If you play something enough it becomes automatic and you don't need to use your brain :)

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Layla Unplugged are a few of my favorite acoustic songs to play. Also I know Tears in Heaven. Thats a pretty fun one, especially improvising chords. For Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, I can play that pretty fast, but now I can't really play along with the cd without speeding up.

I also really wanna learn Goodbye Blue Sky off The Wall. Love that song.

Broken Arrow 09-23-2004 07:00 PM

I feel bad putting down Zeppelin (in the Zeppelin thread) but theres too many people that are like Jimmy page is the best Guitarist.........ever

gmoneyguy 09-23-2004 07:08 PM

I love play to Babe "I'm Gonna Leave You" too.

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 07:11 PM

Well he's not. But many would ay that Led Zeppelin is the best band ever and Page is the lead guitarist of that band.

Can't argue with that :)

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 07:20 PM

None of that in the classic rock thread. We may double as a hippy thread but I'll have none of it

MalcolmYoungRock 09-23-2004 07:22 PM

Remember kids, it's the "Classic Rock" thread not the "Raging Homosexuals" thread.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-23-2004 07:27 PM

We should hire Zakath as our guard against fags. He can flame them out of the thread.

BludgeonySteve 09-23-2004 07:29 PM

He hates any music that you can understand the words to. I bet he wont accept.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-23-2004 07:30 PM

Anyway thats getting off topic...

Lets see...

We don't discuss Van Halen much. Lets do it?

jpj 09-23-2004 07:32 PM

Ultra Bass makes me happy

MalcolmYoungRock 09-23-2004 07:36 PM

I personally liked their first ablum. My favorite track on it was "Ain't talking bout love"

lunch998 09-23-2004 07:53 PM

Up with the Hippy thread. But down on the homosexuality.
