Yes, great song.

Has anyone heard the "Burnt Offerings" Megadeth bootleg? I got it a while ago and I just listened to the whole thing through. It's pretty cool. Their first ever (?) gig with Kerry King.

NP: Testament - Time Is Coming
I've got it, good collector's item.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-04-2005 11:10 PM

Is it decent quality?

Freezing Moon 03-04-2005 11:12 PM
Is it decent quality?
It's decent. Better on some songs.

On my version it has a really wierd fucked up computer voice advertising a website in some parts. RippingCorpseAttack, does yours have that too, or did I get a shitty version?

Is yours an actual bootleg tape, or mp3?

I have it on tape, and I haven't heard that advertisement.

Meh, that must be why. I have the mp3 version. Someone must have ripped it and put the ads in.
did anyone hear ENEMY OF GOD by Kreator..........best thrash album ive ever heard, Suicide terrorist crazy songgg.
I have heard a few songs off of it. I've liked what I've heard so far.

You obviously haven't heard much thrash then.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-05-2005 12:45 AM

no way suicide terrorist is the best song on there. The Title track destroys everything on there.

Iplaythegeeeeetar! 03-05-2005 01:04 AM

ahhhhhhhhhh, it's been awhile since i posted in here. Thrash is my only true love.

Freezing Moon 03-05-2005 01:20 AM
I also want to get into more thrash.

I already listen to...
Testament
Slayer
Megadeth
Metallica
Sodom
Exodus
Overkill
Anthrax
Kreator
Possessed

Out of those I'm also looking for more Kreator, Overkill, and Sodom.
Of those I have...
Kreator - Extreme Aggression
Kreator - Terrible Certainty
Overkill - Horrorscope
Sodom - Agent Orange
Anyone have any more suggestions? I didn't really get a lot of input.

Just any good thrash would be nice. I'd read the thread, but it's easier just to ask for recommendations. I also get specific recommendations rather than "NP: kickass song".

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Artillery - Terror Squad and By Inheritance

Get Dark Angel - Darkness Descends, and get Sodom - Persecution Mania, you won't be disapointed :thumb:

NP: Executioner - Death by the Blade

Apocalyptic Raids 03-05-2005 06:39 AM

Also get some old Sepultura, try anything from the first four albums, particularly Schizophrenia and Beneath The Remains.

and i found a guy on soulseek with a few Dark Angels bootlegs. w00t
OY!

I know that everyone will probably be a bit "Eh" about this, but I found a whole set of 17 live tracks from a Slayer show back in Birmingham, England in 1987.

Clicky here - http://www.slayersaves.com/slayersounds.htm

They have some from their Ozzfest gig of last year, but the 1987 is better to me.

If you personally want to get the files from me on SoulSeek, IM me on SepticSchizo87 when I'm on.
Great find ;) The '87 setlist is awesome :thumb:

Yeah, I have Beneath The Remains. Good stuff, though I haven't listened to it in a while.

Definitely. Tom's scream isn't too bad either, plus the tempo seems a bit sped up, but I think Tony Scalonge did that to make the music more "extreme".

Either way, I loved the bootlegs so I saved them to my computer. If I can get the chance, I'll put them all on a CD and upload them onto my Ipod XD

Spin it in that CD player, my friend. That classic shall not be forgotten. Other than that, I personally love Schizophrenia.

wow thanks for posting, this is there first ever live show?

Corporal Compendia 03-05-2005 06:03 PM

In 1987? In England? Not a chance.

So I've REALLY been neglecting the thrash these days, but... oh well.

ANVIL on Saturday.. haha. Should be a fun show.

Actually, they were in England in 1987 according to the Soundtrack To The Apocalypse booklet.

Hope you have a good time at the show! :)

Slayer's first ever show wasn't in 1987, genious.

That's actually a Slayer fansite. I came across it on Blabbermouth because I was looking to see what's up with the guys of Slayer, and hoping that the new album is a revival.

RCA 03-05-2005 10:57 PM

Violator needs to release more material.

NP: Andralls - Chaotic World

RavenousMetalist87 03-05-2005 11:18 PM

Wow, you're right. I hadn't listened to it in a while, and since then my tastes have changed a bit. This album is awesome.
