i love how all the college kids here complain about having TONS of work but instead of doing it they sit on the ****ing computer all day

Morumbar 04-17-2009 11:55 AM

Postponing work until the last minute is a tactic used by many, many people.
I tend to do this too.

Lol, then I believe that I deserve to be facepalmed.
I thought you were referring to procrastination.

Anyway, I'm off to some friends to get wasted. :thumb:

the2stranger 04-17-2009 12:08 PM

>_>

Hi.
What's happening guys?
It's weekend and that's sweet.
I'm about to pop a can 'o beer.

Fingolfin 04-17-2009 12:09 PM

I made up that definition of procrasti

When I said "heil procrasti" the intent was that I typed part of "procrastination" then sort of trailed off and did a halfassed job

the2stranger 04-17-2009 12:11 PM

Well, better to be a proscrati then a castrato.

I believe the Italians say

"O, che sciagura d'essere senza coglioni!"

"O, what a scourge to be without testicles!"

the2stranger 04-17-2009 12:13 PM

I have no clue wat that means though.

Haha, nice.
Having balls is a blessing.

It's been raining all day, this sucks.
But I don't need to go outdoors anymore today, so I don't mind right now.
The spooky overcast sky gives a strange glow though.
I like it.

RetiredAt21 04-17-2009 12:27 PM

The weather here is great today.

the2stranger 04-17-2009 12:28 PM

It's been really up and down here.
But all in all, we shouldn't complain, cause we had some nice sunny days too.
Quite a few actually.

I love the smell of a warm spring/summer rain on hot asphalt.

RetiredAt21 04-17-2009 12:32 PM

I'm going on a walk with my gf as soon as she gets here.

the2stranger 04-17-2009 12:35 PM

I don't have a g/fw to walk with anymore.

I have to travel quite a distance to get in scandinavia.

But dutch chicks are prety nice too.

RetiredAt21 04-17-2009 12:45 PM

Howdy Kacper!
That's a nice compliment. :D

I'm doing pretty good myself.
I went to a friend yesterday, watched a movie, had some beers, went on the roof of his appartment building.
And when we were very drunk we through raw eggs out of the window onto oncoming people.
We had a good time.

Tomorrow I need to get up early to go to an information day of the university.

How are you doing?

np: Evoken - Of Purest Absolution

repcak 04-17-2009 01:15 PM

MEGA- @ throwing eggs

well, I am ok;
You remember when i called my ex from work? I indeed called her that night and we talked for 40minutes; it was nice, though she talked most of the time. she is doing fine, got a new job and is going out a lot... idk, how she felt, after talking to me after such a long time (2months);

Right now I'd like to go out and have some beers - haven't been out for 2 weeks, but the only party that is going on is a depeche mode release party with 8€ entree; I am not going... lets see what my friends will do tomorrow, though I shall learn for my exam on monday.

the2stranger 04-17-2009 01:25 PM

Yeah, the egging was awesome.
Especially considering we dropped them from a 7th floor window.
It was priceless.

But I guess it's pretty typical that ladies talk all the time.
That's why I enjoy to have a man's night every now and then.
No talking all the time and if we talk, it's about stuff that actually matters.
Women always tell what they need to tell with 10.000 words, men do it with 5 words. :p

Paying for a Depeche Mode party?
They should pay you to go there. haha.
About bars:
I saw in the newspaper, that my favorite bar is closing in may.
The city council wants to make appartments on the spot and the alternative locations they offered to the owner of the bar were way to expensive or on stupid locations.
I'm sad. =(

But then again, I don't go out often anymore.

hismajestythepope 04-17-2009 01:26 PM

Getting back in touch with people is pretty cool, yeah.

LOL @ Depeche Mode party.

Seeing Suffocation on Saturday, drinking mad beer at my apartment afterwards haha.

the2stranger 04-17-2009 01:29 PM

That sounds sweet Matt.
I went to a gig last week, it was the first one this year.
I forgot how awesome gigs were.

EDIT:
I'm going to watch some tv and read a book afterwards.
Bye!

so true, so true;
my ex was always able to talk a lot... I enjoyed it, but from time to time, when she complained that I hardly talk, I was in a defensive situation... I sometimes wanted to say something, but she never stopped... so what?!

Yeah dude, I'm pretty stoked. Haven't seen Suffocation since '06.

Haven't really been to a big show since I saw Phobia in the fall, so it's a similar feeling tbh.

Peace dood.
