3 without icing, 4 with. 3.2 if it's a flourless. |
Haha, nice.
I think I found what brand of nylon string acoustic I'm going to get after the next album. Gonna have the maddest time teaching myself that and getting inside the different sounds it has to offer. |
Do strings really change it that much?
Channel 9 is pretty poophouse now, Ed has drivin it to the ground. That show I just mentioned is about these fat *** people doing a so you think you can dance style show. I felt ill watching the ad
hilarious I rarely watch TV but when I do I catch some ridiculous show with a concept like this and turn it right back off again |
Do strings really change it that much?
If you mean nylon string acoustic vs steel string acoustic yeah it's a huge difference in character. If you meant brands of bass strings, nah not so much but still worth finding your favourite. |
Haha holy crap Hodges just almost scored the most amazing leaping try ever.

There's been a huge blue at the end of this Origin game, someone's picked up a neck injury from the fight by the look of it. Could be some serious stuff. Is already I suppose, hopefully it was just a knock-out rather than a neck injury.

On Tsunami warning.
Nah, been rescinded.
Not according to Bureau of Meteors.
Last I heard it was downgraded to a maritime warning with no evacuations required.
Yeah. I'm right on the beach so that's still something I gotta watch.
Sandcastle wall!
House is on stilts actually, lol.
Talking to the Dean of Science from UOW on facebook, Prof E Bryant, and he said that we're cool. Agrees it'd be great though if it washed up lots of lobsters and potato-scallops on the beach. |
That it would.
I wish I knew the Dean of Science from UOW on facebook and could show of my social connections like that
Add him?
but then that would be like a creepy stalker hunting a man with an important sounding title instead of presumably knowing him somehow beforehand through my elite social network IRL
plus i don't have a facebook |
I'm well proud of you for not having facebook.

Irn-Bru is a pretty top drink.
.....yes......it........is
Try it sometime, it's like glow in the dark Fanta.
where's the best place to look for it?
Big supermarkets tend to carry it. It's a Scottish soft drink company so it's kind of available most places where there might be ex-pat Scots around. Coles here has it.
I love Irn-Bru.
7-11 has it now. |
Apparently the fluro colouring stuff in it is a possible carcinogen but hey, so is cell division.
I love Irn-Bru.
7-11 has it now.
i ASKED SOMEONE IN THE cOMMUNTIY THREAD WHAT THAT iRN bRU WAS LIKE AND i GOT NO ANSWER, CAN YOU DIVULGE PLZ KIND SIR? EDIT: ****ing stupid caps lock.......... |
Tastes a lot like Fanta or Sunkist or whatever orange-ade ish drink you can imagine. Has something of its own though.
The ingredients in Irn-Bru are a closely guarded secret, and the recipe is known only to Robin Barr, the Chairman, and one unnamed person (who are not allowed to travel on the same plane together). A copy of the recipe is kept in a bank vault in Switzerland. Robin Barr himself mixes the essences of the drink in a sealed room at their headquarters in Cumbernauld once a month. Once Robin Barr steps down as Chairman, he will continue to be the company mixer, but will eventually pass on the recipe to his daughter (and company secretary) Julie.
