so i got like the best gloves today for free.

they're like those thin knitted gloves, but actually made well and are super warm.

and the whole palm side of them has little rubber grippy things, which is awesome.

i'm gonna see if there's any more stuff i can get for free from them.

i had the worst / funniest thing ever yesterday:

i had a spliff or 3, was really mashed, then bumped into the brass teacher from my college. he asked me to play on this tour theyre doing as well as a couple of sooner concerts. the problem was, i was so mashed all i could think was "his head looks like an egg". he wrote it all down for me though...

haha went to a party last night and got some horrible looks from my mother when a mate bought me a pint lol.

So I am trying to burn a show onto a blank DVD, but the blank DVD won't register in my computer. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Is your DVD drive properly hooked up? Does it work with other DVDs? Is the blank DVD dual-layer(9GB) or single-layer (4.7GB)?

If you're trying to put in a dual-layer DVD, it's possible your burner only supports single.

I slept horribly last night. I was jamming with people from 7 to 10:30 and tried going to bed at 12. My mind was racing and i couldn't calm down. Then i woke up at 7 and same thing, i couldn't stop thinking about music and stuff.

It sucked.

My parents told me to stop playing music at 9:00 like usual but my friends and i kept playing til 10:30. I assumed they'd tell me when to stop but they didn't.

Also only the drums were mine, friends used my brother's guitar and his amp and my friend's bass amp.

Friends using brothers' stuff doesn't leave me with a good feeling because if anything happens it's my *** on the line.

Luckily nothing did happen so i should be in the clear.

It is built into the computer, and DVDs with stuff on them like movies, CDs, etc work fine. It is a single-layered DVD too.
