yes.
Despite how cliche it sounds, Grateful Dead rule while high. But I hate kids who only listen to like Sublime, GD, Phish while high. I listen to alot of mewithoutYou, OTMOP, Thursday, Thrice, Gospel (very trippy while high). But Grateful Dead just mellow you out hardcore.
Ny Batteri is pretty good high. Either version :p

mewithoutYou is pretty sick too.

Hell yes.

Anyways, I'm toally bobbing along to Marathon right now. Why did they have to break up so soon? =[

form 04-19-2006 08:58 PM

Hmm, wth, why is it so big? I ripped it using itunes, if I rerip it, will it make smaller?

'Cause thats a lot of space for an album.

edit: rerip at a different kbs or bitrate or some junk like that.

Permanent Solution 04-19-2006 09:00 PM

What are you ripping at?

Those seem like wavs...

Haha they're good.

Did you know about them before I recommended them?

cbmartinez 04-19-2006 09:01 PM

Set It Straight > Marathon

form 04-19-2006 09:03 PM

Vince: I think it is .wav files, but I suck and don't know, but the speed was I believe at High Quality (around 160)

I don't know anything about it, but what can I do to make it sound good enough and make it less of a large file?

Permanent Solution 04-19-2006 09:03 PM

rip it to mp3s...128-192 kbps

Special Brew 04-19-2006 09:04 PM

No clue. I've seen them talked about around MX for awhile, and never really listened to them heavily until the past few days. But I downloaded it when you recommended them, even though I already knew they were decent.
Set It Straight > Marathon
Nah, but they're really two different styles.

I'm seeing their final show ever! :D

It'll be the third time I get to see them. I'm definitely grateful for that.
Set It Straight > Marathon
They both rule. Seriously two of the best bands around.

form 04-19-2006 09:10 PM

Ok thanks, Vince, will do.

Sup Brian?

Me and Vince and Matt were just talking about how cool we are and :h5:

Hey cool. Someone here listened to me lmao.

Everyone else here is a fag >_>

Except birna.

Edit: The Scene Aesthetic is really good but I've only got two of their songs and it's bothering me :(

Just got back from Punchline. It was awesome.

Punchline has some catchy songs, but I act like I don't like them cause my brother does, and when he finds a new band he likes, he plays the same 3 songs of PV over and over*, some get annoying, but some are pretty good songs.

It was a lie.

Mute Print 04-19-2006 09:18 PM

Brandon: They sound okay. I don't really like the vocals that much.
It was a lie.
That's what I figured. :p

form 04-19-2006 09:19 PM

I'm listening to them right now, its sounds cool, like a band I could listen to, but I think its the newer stuff.

I now know why I don't like Mest, Goldfinger, Allister, cause my brother.

I love the vocals :(

I like all three of those bands to a point. Mest's older stuff was good, Allister has a lot of catchy songs, and Goldfinger has the occasional worth-while track.
I love the vocals :(
Meh, I'm not digging them. Remind me to listen to them again when I have full hearing back.

Aw. I'll whore them again I'm sure.

In the meantime, Secret Lives of the Freemasons are good :)

Truth. I haven't listened to them in a long time though.

Allister has good music from song playing right now.

The vocalist has a very BEDlight for blueEYES feel. Until he screams/yells.

He has the very full toney voice. It's nice.

Mute Print 04-19-2006 09:29 PM

I've only listened to BEDlight for blueEYES once or twice. I didn't really like their album that much, but I didn't give it chance really. I may have to put it on one of these days.
