Thats the Live at sydney big day out, 2000 i think.

Search it, google video, i dunno, im sure you'll find it.

Virus278 03-06-2006 12:18 AM

can u give the track listing for that show?

Fire Away 03-06-2006 12:43 AM

I would like to know the setlist aswell, I'm downloading it song by song off LimeWire(I have a really slow connection) and I want to make a DVD of it when I'm done. I've got 8 songs so far.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-06-2006 01:06 AM

I think it's...

Family Reunion
Dumpweed
Don't Leave Me
Pathetic
What's My Age Again
Blow Job
Aliens Exist
Going Away To College
Mutt
All The Small Things
Untitled
Carousel
The Country Song
Dammit

That's what I've got.
But I arranged it myself, hehe, it seems to fit together pretty nicely...

Fire Away 03-06-2006 02:51 AM

Cool thx. :thumb:
hey, what are the chords that u played in the beggining of the song? they're really good
i just used the full chord instead of the power chord.....

i think it was C major, Gmajor, Aminor, F major

Agent_Orange 03-06-2006 09:21 AM

I just learned the "slow pretty part" in WMAA. So easy to play.

That was Blink at its very peak I think, 1998-2000. They went slowly downhill after that, IMO anyway.

plaidbassbilly 03-07-2006 02:28 AM

No way...I reckon their peak (musically) was the self-titled.

yourstruly 03-07-2006 02:37 AM

Depends which era of Blink you liked the best. Funny - serious. I prefer funny. But still like serious.

Well I think the self-titled was a very good album but not their peak. In my opinion Enema of the State was their peak. Although Dude Ranch did boost them a lot. The transition they made from TOYPAJ to the ST was freaking huge. I have to say I never saw it coming.

Ross 03-07-2006 12:06 PM

Gotta agree with you Agent Orange; although the S/T stuff was very clever musically, I personally preffered the attitude and sound of Dude Ranch and Enema and I very rarely listen to S/T. I have to be in the mood for it, and I'm much more in the mood for listening to the happier, funnier, more summery stuff of the older days. Can't wait for summer :)

plaidbassbilly 03-08-2006 04:27 AM

See I don't really like EOTS that much, it's probably my least favourite Blink album, whereas I LOVE the self-titled. I could never get sick of it.

Tooth Ache 03-08-2006 09:25 AM

Self titled, It was too dramatic. Like, whats with fame ruining good bands?

Bad Blood 03-08-2006 02:23 PM

Blink 182 have always been famous. It didn't ruin them until S/T, which I don't think is a bad album at all. I love it actually.

It just ruined their run and style, changing peoples oppinions etc etc

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-08-2006 05:43 PM

I really have to be in the mood for S/T. One day I'll love it, then the next, I'll think it's the worst thing they've ever done.. it's weird.

Ande12333 03-08-2006 06:46 PM

The ST was good and it had some really good songs... but it was more of a depressing album... and TOYPAJ was much more laid back and fun... thats why I think that their older stuff was better

S/T was more punk pop emoish... songs like down and stockholm and obvious.... and all of this... well alot of songs..

plaidbassbilly 03-10-2006 03:55 AM

Mmm, maybe that's why I like it more...less whiny and stuff.

Here's Your Letter is amazing.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-10-2006 04:14 AM

That it is.
But my favourite is Stockholm Sydrome. It's so... perfect.
I just wish it was longer.

There's no emo in it whatsoever.
