I've been listening to Locust Abortion Technician, some more Melvins and Pardon My French by Fuck, which incidentally has the greatest album cover in the history of music.
My Mum just walked in and made me turn down my Butthole Surfers, said it sounded like someone was dying. Good times. |
I finally got a hold of Cunning Stunts by the Cows, and it is kickin'.
Also some Down and Lighting Bolt and Clutch and Blackalicious. |
That's a really great album. The Cows rule.
|
Sufjan Stevens - Seven Swans. He is playing really close to where I live in a few weeks, but its 18+ :upset:. I will just have to wait until he is in St. Louis.

Last night, in an AIM conversation, NPC mentioned Glenn Branca for a comparison. I'd never heard the name before, so I allmusic'd him up, and became thoroughly intrigued.
Today I downloaded Branca's The Ascencion album, and it's fuckin' stellar. |

I got it from my local library late last year and ripped it to my computer. I just recently downloaded Symphony No. 1, but haven't gotten around to listening to it yet. Today I've been digging 154 by Wire. |
I have symphony No.1 and 2 by Glenn Branca, he never ceases to amaze me.
|
I'm slowly liking Angels of Light, and hopefully Swans soon. Micheal Gira is intense.

Digging some crazy Daoist music I picked up in the Other Music YSI. I have no idea who it's by or what the album is called (only know the track names) but it's one of the most relaxing and amazing albums I've heard in a very long time.
