I wouldn't care if it was like Tempo of the ****ed. I thought it was a great album. Dammit, it's annoying me waiting for these bastard Megadeth tickets to go on sale. The gigs in a month! why aren't the tickets up?

NP: Overkill - Time To Kill
Same here, I liked TOTD as well.

You're gonna have to let me know how the Megadeth show is when you go!

ForiegnPenguin 03-03-2005 07:35 PM

Yeah, I missed probably the last chance to see Megadeth.

You not planning on seeing them yourself then? I'll give you the highlights when I get back from the show. I'm just hoping some music from KIMB will be included into the set, but aside from Mechanix, it's highly unlikely.

Can always hope!

Nah, they won't be coming to my area. I hope you have a killer time though!

I do own Bonded By Blood, and I'm not a Metallica/Anthrax fanboy. ;)

Thanks for the welcome.

I was just playing Take No Prisoners. The opening riff is awesome.

Yeah, I had a mate that was into Megadeth nearly as much as me but he's pissed off to Europe for a few months. Apart from him I have 2 other friends that like Megadeth, but aren't die hard fans, so it;s touch and go. I'd love to see Five Magics in the setlist actually! that'd be great.

Haha, it's a great song. I heard Dave felt guilty cause he had Marty singing back up vocals about the Panzer Division when Martys Jewish.

FatalEnergy 03-03-2005 11:08 PM

Bonded By (Baloff) Blood is definatley one of the albums that defined thrash, it's pathetic some people in here don't have it

Heh, yeah, I remember reading that somewhere. "The Realms of Deth" or some unofficial site with tons of Megadeth info.

That's similar to the fact that Rick Rubin's Jewish and produced an album containing a song depicting the merciless slaughter of millions of Jews. Oh the irony :p

Apocalyptic Raids 03-04-2005 04:12 AM

 didn't know Rick Rubin was jewish.

Although i guess he would have known that Slayer aren't nazis, unlike so many seem to think after reading those lyrics.

Overkill is one of, if not the, best thrash band(s).

TheChosenOnes: Welcome to the Titans! :chug:

I picked up that Possessed tribute album, and all of the covers are f'n excellent. Jeff Beccera even does vocals on the cover of "The Exorcist".

RCA 03-04-2005 04:06 PM

I stumbled across a Possessed bootleg today on Soulseek. Not that bad of quality for a bootleg, and Jeff sounds really f'n pissed off.

"ARE YOU READY TO DIE!?!? ARE YOU READY TO FUCKIN' BANG YOUR HEAD!??!?! OKAY, HERE'S IS FUCKIN' DEATH METAL!!!"

I've got that Possessed bootleg too.

WhatDuffHuck: Download it yourself, it's not difficult to find.

RavenousMetalist87 03-04-2005 08:02 PM

OY!

I know that everyone will probably be a bit "Eh" about this, but I found a whole set of 17 live tracks from a Slayer show back in Birmingham, England in 1987.

Clicky here - http://www.slayersaves.com/slayersounds.htm

They have some from their Ozzfest gig of last year, but the 1987 is better to me.

If you personally want to get the files from me on SoulSeek, IM me on SepticSchizo87 when I'm on.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-04-2005 08:46 PM

Yes, great song.

Has anyone heard the "Burnt Offerings" Megadeth bootleg? I got it a while ago and I just listened to the whole thing through. It's pretty cool. Their first ever (?) gig with Kerry King.
