Aceyalone is becoming one of my favorite MCs.

Little Man being Erased 11-13-2005 05:52 PM

This morning I have dug the few songs I have from each of the follwing artists. Albums will need to be purchased.

Bear vs. Shark
Ted Leo and The Pharmacists
Unwed Sailor
Sleater-Kinney
Okkervil River

Bartender 11-13-2005 06:02 PM

I've not listened to much recently, mainly because my time has been taken up by essays and games, rather than sitting with music. On my way to and from places though, I've been listening to;

Amateur Transplants - Fitness to Practice
boyhitscar - boyhitscar
Klaus Badelt - He's a Pirate (just the track)
and some other individual songs. Nothing new.

A couple of days ago I heard a Tuvan throat singer's version of (Joy Division's) Love Will Tear Us Apart. It was..interesting.

pixiesfanyo 11-13-2005 06:25 PM

Husker Du - New Day Rising
Aspects of Physics - Some Gay Electronica Name

Hand 11-13-2005 06:55 PM
Blackalicious - The Craft

Iron On
The Rational Academy
Turnpike
The Zebras
Little Man being Erased 11-13-2005 07:00 PM

Actually, now that I think about it, I was pretty into the Beatles this weekend. There were lots of Beatles blocks on the radio, which I enjoyed a lot, I listened to Abbey Road, and I watched A Hard Day's Night.

That blows. They're really something live.

When I saw them I was like "Whoa! I need to capture this awesomeness!". I tried to take video with my camera, but was owned by the fact my phone sucks hardcore, all you can see is blurry blobs moving around with loud static playing.

But yeah, you should really try to go.

Rainbow anyone?

Little Man being Erased 11-13-2005 08:36 PM

I still haven't seen any of the Beatles' movies, except for the huge Anthology one. Last week I listened to every Beatles album I own in chronological order.

AHDN was pleasant, but pretty dumb and mindless. The music was great of course.
