I wish people would figure out how to put scratching on an album so that it isn't always a sideshow/gimmick. Q-bert, Kid Koala, Mix-master Mike, DJ P, and Rob Swift are all nasty on the breaks, but I can't get through their albums because it lacks variety.

And the Gaslamp Killer. Dude needs to make beats for someone. His stuff is awesome.

No kidding though, it is a bit much of a gimmick. There are so many MCs they could rip with, too.

I guess Grandmaster Flash and DJ Kool Herc did it well, but they weren't very dominant compared to the MC's in their songs.
