Don't screw up though. You teach him bad technique, he gets hurt.. guess who gets sued?

Must be a bunch of friggin morons. If you can't be creative and fresh in 4/4. You can't be creative and fresh period.
We have just as much music in 4/4 as we do in other weird time signatures. All of our songs all the way through are creative and fresh and I guarantee you haven't heard anything like us before. :thumb:

Drum Phil 09-09-2005 11:22 AM

I'm not :) Not any time soon. Just decided i want it some day

Epiphender 09-09-2005 12:26 PM

I'm planning to just build up my current kit. I don't think I'm ever going to upgrade again.

Jezen 09-09-2005 01:21 PM

This is me with Colin Woolway, who has been playing professionally for 30 years, is a tutor for Rhythm Magazine (UK), and is the creator of the DrumSense training program.

^ He makes some pretty good lessons in the magazine.

Today, First two periods were the worst. Bloody pervy Biology teacher. I'm not joking, he had an affair with a pupil a couple of years back and is now married to her.
Anyway, I spilt chlorophyll on the workbench; which turned the bench green, then broke a pipette tube when I dropped it on the floor.
However some nice, but scary, guy helped me pick it up.

Apart from those two minor incidents, and some other thing that happened my day has been good.

And that guy was off school today, thankfully...

Jezen 09-09-2005 01:32 PM

Some ginger guy in my class broke his arm last night.

Oohhh the violence of rugby....

Voodoo Rabbit 09-09-2005 02:22 PM

I remember when I was younger and I used to play rugby.
There was this little girl, WAY younger than me (and shorter) and she used to squeeze my hand really tight and threaten me.

----

Oohh, Biscuits and milk (Yummy).

There is nothing on TV. Apart from some weird spoof of 'Only Fools and Horses', something else that I'm not quite sure of, a Mel Gibson film, and 'The Simpsons'...

Drum Phil 09-09-2005 02:30 PM

and the simpsons has finished :( stupid terrestrial TV

Jezen 09-09-2005 02:31 PM

Simpsons just finished. Dayuum.

Just had scones with jam and cream, and now im working on some rebound 8's.

Oh and avatar change.

Drum Phil 09-09-2005 02:33 PM

Voodoo Rabbit 09-09-2005 02:41 PM

Drum Phil 09-09-2005 03:01 PM

Gah i gotta go get an application form to work in the new tesco here tomorrow

Jezen 09-09-2005 03:03 PM

Oh maaan. I have to get a job tomorrow. Mum said I have to go out and get a job, and I can't come home till I have one.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-09-2005 03:04 PM

^ They pay REALLY well, though (Tesco)...

I know someone who just applied, that's getting £43* a week, for working three evenings (Not very loong evenings either, as the store closes at 8PM).

I was thinking of getting an application for our nearest store...

if your getting a DW, why would you get a finish ply. i would go for at least a satin oil or laquer.

dont jobs normally have an interview and them calling you later to tell you if you got it or not. ive never seen someone hired right off the street, or is that just an american thing.

There's some pretty good songs, but it's just to *Meh* and boring...

Jezen 09-09-2005 03:44 PM

Jezen 09-09-2005 03:51 PM

Ours is 24hours so i'll be getting £10.50 an hour + free coffee, tea and sandwiches for a night shift

Voodoo Rabbit 09-09-2005 04:05 PM

See, you'd be getting an awful lot of money.
