I have a new affinity for "Six Holes in a Stick" by Deerhoof and "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service. Lightning Bolt's made it's way into my head fairly often lately, also.

I'm trying to decide between buying two Air albums for $15 (not sure which ones they are), pre ordering the new Sigur Ros or buying "Astral Weeks" for $10. hmm
I've been listening to Stoner Witch recently too...one of their best.
im gonna have to agree with you on that one, rather great disc
I've been listening to Stoner Witch too lately. How wierd, this is the first time in ages I've listened to the Melvins. How slack of me.
absence makes the heart grow fonder, i find a neglected album can be enjoyed more after a long break

She's the girl who lives on Heaven Hill!

Also, HUM- Downward Is Heavenward. Thanks Zappa, it's a good album.

Today was:

Air - 10,000 Hz Legend
Broken Social Scene - s/t
The Who - Tommy
Tom Waits - Nighthawks at the Diner

And I was transferring some stuff I had stored on my TV to DVD, so I was digging the Pixies' Austin City Limits performance.

br3ad_man 08-27-2005 02:08 AM

Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technician
Big Black - Atomizer
Fuck - Pardon My French
The Blood Brothers - Crimes

I ended up buying Astral Weeks earlier on so I'll probably dig that later tonight. Maybe when I go driving with my Dad.

Listening to "Doolittle" by The Pixies...this album is still their best in my opinion...although Surfer Rosa is good too.

Joanna Newsom - The Milk-Eyed Mender

Recently, I'm all about Sigur Rós and Franz Ferdinand, due to new singles and so on, but I'm also really enjoying Ladytron's Destroy Everything You Touch, and I've finally warmed to Bright Eyes with Easy/Lucky/Free.
