fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:24 PM

10 quid, plus whatever it will cost to fix. Could be good, could be bad. Weigh up the good and bad points dude.
I'm in love with Wals...
Aren't we all :).

Fatbandit: What do you mean the lead is not seperated from the amp? And, what about feature-wise? Really, there is not an amp that has as many good features, and I can safely say that. :)

Dieforitall89 05-16-2005 03:30 PM

Hey ls, how goes it?

fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:30 PM

The lead for the plug socket at the back would be better if it was detachable, ie a kettle lead.

Feature wise, its pretty cool, though I don't have the chance to pump up the volume and dick about with it too much.

One problem is, I stored an EQ, and it suits my sound fine and all, but I can't replicate it on other armps, because I can't remember what I programmed in

im getting my *** handed to me by astral traveler, but i wont let it win

fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:34 PM

I think this thread needs some love and Pat Sharpe appreciation...

Radiobass81 05-16-2005 03:34 PM

^^ Even if you remembered, you will notice that it doesn't sound the same. The Roland has a certain... characteristic, which gives it a unique tone.

Also note, it is pretty much impossible to get a flat tone out of it.

Really, pick an easier song. If you can barely play it now, how will it hold up when playing it to the Berklee guys... Which is why I'm not playing Teen Town.

i can play it.......just not to the level im happy with, but then agian i hold myself to an impossible standard when it comes to bass

Radiobass81 05-16-2005 03:41 PM

We all do, actually.

And my opinion still stands...

fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:48 PM

Yeah, but it bugs me that I have no idea what goes into making 'my' sound!

I can't play anything up to that standard, so I don't. Simple as... ;)

sixxbassist90 05-16-2005 03:49 PM

1200 post
woot!!

fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:51 PM

I can't find any decent pictures of Pat Sharpe. Google has failed me :(

Ah well. With that breaking, and most disappointing news, I will take my leave of you. Maybe i'll have a parting gift though.

fatbandit 05-16-2005 03:55 PM

And I messed up my link to a substitute picture and can't be bothered fixing it.

I am a failure :upset:

Foxfire 05-16-2005 03:56 PM

I'm listening to Opeth.

Their drummer likes the god****ed double bass too much.

Radiobass81 05-16-2005 03:57 PM

A David Hassolhoff (sp?) picture?

:/

at this point its too late for me to learn anything id want to perform , meh

Radiobass81 05-16-2005 04:05 PM

Really, if you need a whole month to learn the piece you are going to play, that would be really inadecuate (sp?), as you are not actually around the level of that song...
