So this Deathcore stuff is pretty sweet. Listened to a couple of the recommendations in this thread. Was pretty thoroughly impressed with Conducting From the Grave.

but there is a lot of really really crappy deathcore out there

lol Actually I did. I got some stuff from the three bands you mentioned in your post about Conducting From the Grave and I was quite pleased.

now also get some Despised Icon (preferably "The Healing Process"), Camilla Rhodes (definitely "The Onyx Sun") and Whitechapel (go with "The Somatic Defilement")

aren't as shreddy and melodeathy as the other three, but v v good

I personally think Whitechapel's newest is better than The Somatic Defilement tbh
