Recycled beatz, INSANE GUTTURALZ and maaaaaaad shredded wheat

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 09:40 PM

It's hardcore-influenced DM, that's all. It doesn't justify yet another genre name, especially one that stupid.

RiceMonster 11-18-2007 09:41 PM

Dude, lay the FUCK off my sammin gore grove

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 09:42 PM

Who cares what it is? It's really gay and noone should listen to it in the first place. It soils dm's good name.

The new Red Chord is really good, again.
It's hardcore-influenced DM, that's all. It doesn't justify yet another genre name, especially one that stupid.
It's not really "hardcore influenced" at all.

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 09:44 PM

There's nothing wrong with that kind of music (necessarily); the retarded genre naming just needs to quit.

Tyler: All I saw was Blasting in the same sentence as Breakdowns. I drew a reasonable conclusion. Sorry.

My point still stands.

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 09:44 PM

Oh. How gay...

So anybody wanna recommend me an album to download? I'm bored.

Tyler 11-18-2007 09:45 PM

I dont think anyone implied that "slam death" is a genre. Just a more specific label used when looking for something. It's no different than saying "brutal" or whatever.

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 09:46 PM

Well yeah, it's almost one in the same with modern day Brootal Death Metal.

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 09:46 PM

It's still stupid, but whatever.

HBP: Send me the Red Chord please? I still need to check them out, and the one song I heard I really liked.

RiceMonster 11-18-2007 09:46 PM

Waking the Cadaver

Deth 11-18-2007 09:46 PM

I try to compare everything to slam groove. But nothing ever does.

I'm willing to bet you have it but what about Left Hand Path by Entombed, I've been digging that lots lately.

publicastration 11-18-2007 09:51 PM
"Slam-Groove"? You have got to be kidding me.

So fucking stupid.
I'm sorry, I was misinformed.

What I meant is I want some good groovy brutal death, like Benighted.

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 09:51 PM
Which album?
Uh....

Any of them. I don't even know how many they have. Send me the heaviest, most breakdown-laden one, I guess. Or the new one. Or all of them.

Tyler 11-18-2007 09:52 PM

The heaviest most breakdown-laden one is bad. Send him Fused and if he likes that he can get Prey for Eyes. Clients is not worth your money or bandwidth.

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 09:54 PM

I'll u/l and rep you the link tommorrow. They don't use breakdowns too much, but their first album was immense and clearly their best with their latest coming next and their second coming in last.

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 09:54 PM
Waking the Cadaver
Angmar 11-18-2007 09:56 PM

LifeInABox 11-18-2007 09:58 PM

Ohshi I forgot.

And Angsteve, did you dig Fused or have you gotten around to it yet?

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 09:59 PM

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 10:00 PM

I've got a rapidshare link for Fused if anybody wants it.

Tyler 11-18-2007 10:00 PM

I'm liking this Blood Rainbow a lot more this time around.
THE FOAM OF THE ANCIENT OCEAN IS COLOURED RED WITH BLOOD

Angmar 11-18-2007 10:01 PM

It's a cool album. Why more bands haven't thought about dinosaur based lyrics is a mystery to me.

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 10:06 PM

I sent both albums bra.

Invicta_Veritas 11-18-2007 10:11 PM

Yea, D/ling now, thanks.

 for so many different reasons.

Light This City and Veil Of Maya slayed tonight.

Cattle Decapitation's singer was really impressive.
Asphyx- The Rack
If you're looking for anything, not just Death Metal, download Asbestos Death- Dejection, Unclean... it's Pre-Sleep Sleep and it's damn good.

If you're looking for death metal specifically, download Evil Incarnate- Blackest Hymns of God's Disgrace.

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 10:52 PM

Sweet, I don't have either of those.

Thanks.

NemesisDivina 11-18-2007 10:56 PM

I bet you'll enjoy both of those...

Evil Incarnate is straight up crushing death metal. Nothing wanky about them. It's really fantastic stuff.

C.O.A. 11-18-2007 10:57 PM

Yeah dude, I gotta spread rep but I will get you back sometime soon hopefully.

Tyler 11-18-2007 11:16 PM

Haven't seen this mentioned yet.
