just changed my options concerning the uploads. Please try again :)

EDIT

done and the speed is tolerable for now (and for me at least) :thumb:
Wicked, and I'm getting that Suffocation album from you. I lost my mp3's and I'm too lazy to rip my CD. :D

metal-militia 07-02-2005 03:59 PM

I've never really liked Mekong Delta. I think they are a band you either love or hate.

Or don't know about at all.

metal-militia 07-02-2005 04:02 PM

I last listened to one of their albums last year... i'll give it another listen considering you're saying they're great.

RCA 07-02-2005 04:28 PM

Sounds good; give it a few spins if necessary.

metal-militia 07-02-2005 04:49 PM

i will do.... i remember when i first heard them i thought they were pretty wierd thrash. I suppose i'll give them a few more chances.

RCA 07-02-2005 04:54 PM

Yeah, they do have a weird sound. Alot of their riffs completely slay though (True Lies \m/ ).

metal-militia 07-02-2005 05:10 PM

well i'll listen when i can. Got to listen to Onslaught and Possessed CDs first.

Terrorzone 07-02-2005 05:13 PM

Yesterday night I went to Newbury Comics and I wasn't expecting to see Vio-lence, but there it was. Me and my friend both realized there was one copy infront of us. He shoved me, but I grabbed it first. We almost got into a fight to the death over it. Ahh...the power of thrash.

Oh and did I mention its so ****ing awesome.

Comic shop sells CDs? Man, we need that over here. There are a few comic shops in Pasadena, then the local record store and book store. Penny Lane has a few good CDs, they had a documentary of Death Metal though. I never got around to buying it...eh...lol

Apocalyptic Raids 07-02-2005 07:58 PM

I only have Mekong Delta's Self Titled. It seems ok, although I honestly haven't payed much attention to it at all. I might have to check out The Music Of Erich Zann.

CORONER Rule Out Reunion

The legendary technical metal band CORONER from Zurich, Switzerland have reportedly ruled out the possibility of a reunion, despite the recent offer of a festival appearance as well as other live performances.

According to a posting on The Unofficial Coroner Web Site, "Marky [Marquis Marky, a.k.a. Marky Edelmann, drums] wrote [in a recent e-mail that] he met Ron [Royce, a.k.a. Ron Broder, bass/vocals] and Tommy [Vetterli, a.k.a. Tommy T. Baron, guitar] two weeks ago to talk about the reunion. Unfortunately, he said it was now 100% sure there would be no CORONER reunion or live shows. He explained the main reason was that neither he, Ron, nor Tommy had the time it would require to do this properly, and also that neither of them liked to, I quote, 'reheat things, except spaghetti sauce.'

"Marky explicitly asked me not to post his e-mail on the web, but he said that they were all extremely touched by the interest of all the fans and — for this very reason, I believe — they would meet again in two weeks for two other things he doesn't want me to reveal yet. Both things are still very uncertain, and one of them — the most uncertain of the two — is particularly exciting, although it's not a reunion, and it's not a new album.

"Keep checking the CORONER Message Board and this site for news because one of the things he talked about, if it happens, will be an exclusive time-limited opportunity that will be announced here.

"More news about all those mysteries as soon as I hear from Marky again and get the green light from him! :)"

joe_fresh 07-03-2005 10:05 AM

Typical, i only yesterday read that they might be getting back together.

metal-militia 07-03-2005 10:32 AM

thats bad news... i was hoping for a tour so i could go see them.

MAthiAS 07-03-2005 11:30 AM

This sucks.

RCA 07-04-2005 01:12 AM

I knew Coroner would never reunite, so I'm not too disappointed.

I got another email from Rob Mills, and he said the new Razor material goes back to the days of Shotgun Justice and Violent Restitution! :D

a8o 07-04-2005 04:54 AM
This sucks.
At least they won't ruin their legacy.

that sounds great. Are there any plans to rerelease Razor's albums?

Apocalyptic Raids 07-04-2005 07:16 AM
At least they won't ruin their legacy.
I guess thats a positive :(

How many of Razor's albums are out of print?

RCA 07-04-2005 01:58 PM

I think all of their albums except for Evil Invaders, Violent Restitution, Open Hostility, and Decibels are out of print. I don't know if they'll re-release the others.

RCA! What is Rob Mills's email address?!

(Yes, I'm back... my computer blew up, but I managed to fix it)

The beautiful thing about that Gates of Hell show... IS THAT I'M GONNA BE THERE! Woo! Razor for a third time! Starting saving your cash man! Take a trip to Canada! Gates of Hell is always a blast and a half... Last year we had Razor, Anvil, Infernal Majesty, Exciter and Goat Horn, among other small time locals.

metal-militia 07-04-2005 03:02 PM

wow. I'd love to see Razor, Infernal Majesty and Exciter all in one show.

**** I was looking forward to that, there was going to be a Chicago show :(.

metal-militia 07-05-2005 10:05 AM

Finished listening to 7 Churches and The Force today. Seven Churches is excellent, and some parts of it i thought were suprisingly melodic (mainly the solo's). The Force is pretty good, with some decent riffs, but does get a bit repetetive.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-05-2005 10:15 AM

Seven Churches is pretty good. Although a little repetitive in parts.

Anyone know what Possessed's other material is like?
