I'm seeing An Albatross tomorrow night. I don't like them that much, but I think it'll be pretty interesting so whateva.

I wish I could see a band like Melt Banana or Lightning Bolt or Comets on Fire. That's my favourite live music - noisy stuff that's intense and interesting. I saw a local band recently who sounded a lot like Comets on Fire. I spoke with a guy in that band, and it turns out all 3 of the band are obsessed with Can and Japanese psychadelic rock. And the bassist looked like an asian Lee Ranaldo. I promptly bought their EP. Going to see good local bands rules, as it's a chance to meet people into good music. Such people are, I have discovered, rare.

I can't believe I missed Lightning Bolt when they came here. I didn't even know about it. Wolf Eyes, I missed aswell.

Hopefully seeing Boris and Isis in July though.

Are Boris touring Britain btw? I never heard anything about that.

Mono are one of the loudest bands I've ever seen, and they used a hell of a lot of distortion when I saw them. They really surprised me with how good they were live.

Mono are ok, but they're supposed to be really really good live. Same with 65DoS really.

It sucks that everyone's going to awesome shows but I can't because I'm not 18
