can you hook up a guitar to it. b/c i can do it better that way. I'm using a controller right now and it sucks hard.
I thought it came with the guitar.

Aw3someman 01-05-2006 03:11 PM

No i mean a real guitar. The guitar that came with it is gay. It wont recognize that there is an E string anywhere on the guitar. So i used the controller and it's not working to well

It would be cool if tht would work, but I highly doubt that is possible. where would you plug the guitar in?

Aw3someman 01-05-2006 03:14 PM

Jam it in the controller slot
edit:300 posts
Jam it in the controller slot
Yeah. Im sure there wouldnt be any problems with your PS2 after that.

Aw3someman 01-05-2006 03:17 PM

Or the guitar for that matter.

Cain 01-05-2006 03:45 PM

Question for last.fm users: if you quit your scrobbler and then restard it again, does it only send in the tracks that you've played since the last time you quit for your weekly stats, or does it track the whole times during the week the scrobbler was on regardless?

Aw3someman 01-05-2006 03:49 PM

I use the I-tunes tracker instead. Much easier

If you switch off the plug-in and then switch it on again it makes no difference to your weekly charts (I hope I understood your question here).
popcore
haha, what kind of bands are considered popcore?
Yeah, unfortunately there's a relatively big following for underground metal on the site but I wish it carried over to Sputnik. You should start doing some metal reviews :thumb:
Thanks for saying that but for now I'd rather not :p

So, I saw my best friend today after a week (no need to say that we talk on the phone every day). She's just left and I'm already feeling so lonely :(

Because a guitar has the same wiring as a controller.

Lord Abortion 01-05-2006 04:17 PM

Hmm, it would be interesting to see if you could fuse some wires toether so that you could attatch a real guitar to it.

I was wondering why no one had written reviews for a single Evergrey or Therion album by the time I got to them.
Hmm, it would be interesting to see if you could fuse some wires toether so that you could attatch a real guitar to it.
Well, you'd have to have some sort of thing to press on the fretboard so they can activate the circuits, and you need the strummy thing where your pickups are. They should make the neck a little thinner, though.

Stoic 01-05-2006 04:27 PM
I was wondering why no one had written reviews for a single Evergreyor Therion album by the time I got to them.
Excellent! I didnt know you like Evergrey and you've reviewed an album of theirs! I own In Search of Truth and have some mp3s off their first releases. What attracted me into them in the first place is their lyrical concept :)

/reads Cain's review on The Inner Circle

Ad Absurdum 01-05-2006 04:37 PM
I was wondering why no one had written reviews for a single Evergrey or Therion album by the time I got to them.
Yeah, especially when there are multiple reviews of more popular albums :(. I noticed you done a Therion review the other day, I enjoyed reading it it was a good review.

Stoic 01-05-2006 04:42 PM

I commented Cain's review it wont appear in the recent posts review list. Same thing happened when I added a comment to a Blind Guardian review

Shattered_Future 01-05-2006 04:46 PM
My cousin had it when I went to Georgia and I was reading the back and it said "Crossroads". That made me race to frantically unlock it before I had to go. Sadly, I couldn't. :(
Even though I'm not big on classic rock, I will say that's one of the most fun songs to play on there.

Evergrey is an awesome band. I have The Dark Discovery (the reissued one) and their latest studio album.

Stoic 01-05-2006 04:49 PM

You progsters, make sure to check out Andromeda some day. Archetype (already whored, no one cared...) as well ;)

I want to but this bloody crappy P2P programs likie Ares have zero to none files by them. I saw... eh... I=II or something like that and felt like listening to it, but then again, I can't find them to either DL them or buy them.

Deconstruction 01-05-2006 05:05 PM

Anyone here have a ****load of Pink Floyd? I deleted mine and am trying to get it back. I have ASFOS, Division Bell, Wall, DSOTM (on vinyl, it will be easier to just send it, and its my dads), Wish you were here. I have AHM and A collection of great dance songs, upstairs. I will send you 917 megs of Porcupine Tree whenever, as I have already uploaded it.

Silenius 01-05-2006 05:08 PM

Deconstruction: Did you ever get War Funeral March by Vlad Tepes? I sent it like a week ago but I'm not sure if it worked...

Finding them is the tr00 challenge

Andromeda CDs are not too hard to find.

They're a pretty sweet and remarkably accessable band. I just purchased their debut, "The Dark Discovery," and I like it better than "The Inner Circle," to tell you the truth. It's much harder-edged and heavy, especially in the drum work.

Thanks for all the kind words on the reviews. :)

EDIT: Stoic, see my reply in the review.

Finding them is one thing.

Having cash to pay for them is another. :p

I really need to start working or something. Or I'll use a summer job as an excuse to afford all my weird music and/or pedal effects for my guitar.

Do you use Ares lite?
Speaking of video games, I was perusing (big word!) through my house and found 2 Sega Saturns and a Nintendo 64. Score, right?

I'm wondering why the hell I had two Sega Saturns...

Big word, and you might have misused, not 100% sure. O-<

Yes... because I am the proud owner of a windows 98 computer.

Why's that?

I find it pointless to work in order to get stuff like this. Working has a meaning if it allows to live on your own. :p
