I was just listening to Turn It Around, and Something Less is an awesome song.
Today my friend found an old bank account his parents set up for him and forgot about. He went in the bank and we figured he would come out empty handed (he always comes up with sketchy plans for money) and he walks out with 200 bucks in his hand. So we went to the record store and he says "pick something out and get it". So I got A Wilhelm Scream 'Mute Print' and Set Your Goals EP. And he's gonna sell me his portable record player.
What place carried these?

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 12:02 PM

Shane, did you wind up getting that Throwdown DVD?

shane italian 01-28-2005 12:04 PM

Ohhhh, I thought you were talking about a cd.

Nah, my friend has it so I might just borrow his copy.

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 12:10 PM

Ahhh, is Panthers the emo band with members of The Red Scare?

shane italian 01-28-2005 12:10 PM

I don't know much about them, I don't like them much to be honest. But I thought it was cool that they had their 12".

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 12:15 PM

Haha, damn you and your rampant music scene. The only place we have around here is Princeton Record Exchange, but I'm not sure if they would have indie stuff or whatver.

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 12:46 PM

I went all out on my A Types review.

mabba 01-28-2005 01:58 PM

good review for A types. I'm a big fan of Hopesfall, but A types really hasn't done anything for me. I keep trying to listen to it hoping that I will find something that will standout and grab my attention, but nothing has popped up yet.

New Norma Jean song. Discuss.

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 05:56 PM

I don't like that at all.

shane italian 01-28-2005 05:57 PM

This is such a Botch rip off...it's not even funny.

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 06:08 PM

Yeah, the vocals are very weak and the guitar is sloppy.

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 06:11 PM

It may be a good song to a Norma Jean fan...but im not a fan at all.

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 06:23 PM

Nah, I'm a big fan and I think it's weak.

NewKindofArmy03 01-28-2005 07:39 PM
Well I got the CD. And I believe it's just a self titled ep.
Demo 2004, right? I'm just making sure, I don't want there to be stuff I don't have.

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 07:43 PM

Ya it's just titled Demo 2004. Good stuff.

NewKindofArmy03 01-28-2005 07:45 PM

Yeah, it took me a while to get into the NFG-styled vocals from that one guy. I really like how they switch between singers a lot though.

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 07:48 PM

Same here man, I just found out there coming here in March.

cbmartinez 01-28-2005 09:12 PM

Man, F-Minus rules.

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 09:40 PM

You know who rules? Stay Gold i can't stop listening to them.

shane italian 01-28-2005 09:43 PM

I'm Listening To Stay Gold Right Now! Omg!

CONNER_NWHC 01-28-2005 09:45 PM

Omg LOL! what's your favourite song?

shane italian 01-28-2005 10:00 PM

Let's Chop Cats! 01-28-2005 10:17 PM
Haha, damn you and your rampant music scene. The only place we have around here is Princeton Record Exchange, but I'm not sure if they would have indie stuff or whatver.
It's a trip for you but there is always Crumedgeon and Vintage Vinyl.

NewKindofArmy03 01-28-2005 10:20 PM

All the good music stores here are within a 4 block radius of eachother. That's about 10 stores too.

shane italian 01-28-2005 10:21 PM

We have Greene and Bionic.
