I have largely gone off green day. They've really sold out big time with American Idiot. Its funny that the "lead song" of the album is by far the worst!

hey everyone i wanna play take back the power by RATM in my band but my friend(guitar player says) the song has no rythm. and coincedently he turns down all the songs with decent bass lines. :confused: :amaze:

Anyone see Jooles Holland last night? It was great! Foo Fighters were on, aswell as black eyed peas (yes, i do like them.) and some other great bands.

I love Jooles Holland, hes such a legend!

Ah, I didn't see it. I was going to watch the Foos on Top of the Pops, but Dave had laringitis. Did they do new stuff? Was it any good? BEP are pretty cool (Intro riff to Lets Get Retarded, yeh, that's the stuff...) I personally hate Jools Holland. He's good as a host, on the Hootenanny, getting more and more drunk throughout, lol, but he just annoys me on piano. That bald bass player in his house band is pretty cool though.

The foos were great! As you might know, the new album is split into two cds. An aggressive cd and a mellow cd. First song they played was aggressive, then just Dave played a really nice acoustic mellow song, then they played out with an aggressive song. He mentioned his laringitis. He still sang welll though!

Yeah, he is better as a host than a pianist but he does a great job of both! I think its funny how he always randomly pulls an album out of his jacket pocket while walking over to talk to a band :D

EDIT: And yes, you may have Mezmerise by the end of the night! It all depends how quickly my brother works and if he doesnt get frustrated or lose interest in setting it up. Hes like that so I try to keep him focused when fixing my computer :p
