no dont charge for session work just yet.
i played bass on one of those pseudo musical seniors cds he had recorded (he plays guitar, but knows nothing of musical theory so his chords progressions were like E major D Major C major Aminor, which doesnt work). but yeah dont ask for payment , just make sure you are credited on the cd

Radiobass81 05-13-2005 03:15 PM

*bought the new NIN cd*

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:16 PM

Thunder Fingers 05-13-2005 03:23 PM

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:24 PM

neal_672 05-13-2005 03:29 PM

I haven't bought any albums for a few weeks, i've got loads i want soon though...

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:33 PM
I haven't bought any albums for a few weeks, i've got loads i want soon though...
i usually get albums from my emo friends thorugh aim

neal_672 05-13-2005 03:36 PM

Hmmmm i prefer to buy the albums. I'm not one for downloading really i like to give something back to the artists.

Radiobass81 05-13-2005 03:37 PM

So far, it's good, but nothing out of the ordinary, as many people around have been saying it is. "All that could have been" is still my favorite.

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:41 PM

if i ever had cash that wasnt being spent on music thigns i would buy cds.....or drugs

Radiobass81 05-13-2005 03:43 PM

^^ Aren't CDs "music things"?

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:47 PM

when i say music thigns i mean:
clarinet reeds
clarinet books
bass books
bass strings
basses
piano books
more clarinet reeds (i know i mentioned it already)
piano lessons
clarinet lessons
bass lessons

neal_672 05-13-2005 03:49 PM

Indeed. I much prefer to give bands the revenue so they can continue on making music. For example Million Dead, they need all the support they can get, they're amazingly poor apparently...

i usually buy albums from lesser revenued bands, it just feels gross taking from them, but i dont think the killers are going to notice if i enjoy there music without paying them....yeah i know its wrong

neal_672 05-13-2005 03:55 PM

Pah The Killers suck anyway :p

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 03:58 PM

they have some really good songs, but those didnt make it mainstream

neal_672 05-13-2005 04:00 PM

They were good until they were played to death by everyone ever...

ill agree to that, i also dl albums that i cant buy around here, like cds from unsigned bands that dont go on tour (The Last Broadcast comes to mind, and they kick more *** than anything ive ever heard)

neal_672 05-13-2005 04:06 PM

I saw Killers this time last year before the album came out and it was cool but now you just cannot escape them, it's like Green Day (although i never liked them anyway) they're just on radio, on TV, on in shops, on in the college common room until i feel like going and smashing Brandon Flowers/Billie Joe Armstrongs pretty little face(s) in. Well maybe not but you see my point, they're unescapable...

fatbandit 05-13-2005 04:06 PM

Just been to see the Complete Works of Shakespeare, Abridged by the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Quality stuff! OOB!

Thunder Fingers 05-13-2005 04:07 PM

i have managed to escape Green Day pretty well...

neal_672 05-13-2005 04:08 PM
i have managed to escape Green Day pretty well...
They're on all the time over here, you can't turn somewhere without finding a "punk" with a Green Day hoody on...

fatbandit 05-13-2005 04:10 PM

Anyways, I'm off you little Green Day loving punx

Talk tomorrow if any of you are around.

Thunder Fingers 05-13-2005 04:10 PM

the only i have heard of them lately is the commercials on tv for their newest album... if i had Switched my Radio on sometimes i might have heard more though...:p

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 04:10 PM

neal_672 05-13-2005 04:13 PM

I was gonna see JEW at Leeds Festival but they pulled out so they can support Green Day... another reason to hate them!

Left Shoe 05-13-2005 04:14 PM
