horseypie 07-13-2009 04:17 AM

ew...i only just started drinking v, and ill drink red bull when im out if you mix it with cointreau

gaslight 07-13-2009 04:18 AM

V and Red Bull are both pretty swell on their own. Good mixers too.

You can save money and get Coles brand energy drinks. The green can is V-ish the purple can is Red Bull-ish.

nevertoolate 07-13-2009 05:41 AM

a fleeting visit lads, now i'm off to bed as i gotta get up for work in 7 hours, take it sleazy.

horseypie 07-13-2009 05:48 AM

cya brent

yeah it is the orange liquor...supposedly the mix is called a skittle i got told by one mate who works at a bar, but another mate who is into like fancy alcohols and all that jazz reckons there is other stuff in a skittle

gaslight 07-13-2009 05:49 AM

Well I'm gonna try some later. Got some Cointreau here and some Coles brand imitation Red Bull.

Yeah catch ya Brent.

horseypie 07-13-2009 05:56 AM

yeah i need to stock up on different liquors, at the moment i have a bottle of mount gay rum, a tiny bit of bundy left, two bottles of father o leary's, a mini bottle of bundy in my car in case of emergency and some beer

gaslight 07-13-2009 06:00 AM

Yeah my own liquor collection has dwindled recently. Blame the recession, haha.

Dealing with Child Protection Service regarding a work matter. Angry at deadbeats. I mean, I know people have it tough, but if you have kids they're your priority no matter what.

Aaron 07-13-2009 05:31 PM

Miaow. Interesting discussion going on in the drum and percussion sub-forum about whether drums or piano are harder instruments to master.

Meatplow 07-13-2009 05:53 PM

idk mastering any instrument is quite a task is it not

unless its kazoo or something

prime possum 07-13-2009 08:39 PM

for me id say piano, because youd have to gain a rhythmic skill, sight reading, full music theory to master that, whereas drumming wouldnt really require the music theory as much?

idk thats just my thoughts, i havent raed that section

Aaron 07-13-2009 09:01 PM

Good drummers know more theory than pianists, I'd say. It's just that drummers apply it in their approach and thinking, where piano is the direct demostration of theory. I doubt many pianists would be able to discuss metric modulation to the depth that drummers can, for example.
