Wow. I just listened to the remastered RIP. And its like, hmm, the drums are too dominant, the bass can be over powering (like in the Hangar 18 intro), the vocals are ok. Except on some songs, like TNP, where they cab get a little annoying.

I'm gunna jump on the band waggon and say Original > Remastered

The only albums that should have been remastered were KIMB, and maybe Peace Sells and SFSGSW. Rust in Peace was fine the way it was.

Tornado of Souls was butchered on the remasters.

They all sounded good to begin with. It was quite unecessary.

Actually, the KIMB is my business one was good, but it was done two years before the rest, because it actually needed it.

Yes. I quite like it. I have the original CD as well. But it was a hand-me-down and scratched to hell, not a single song will play.

What I can't stand about the CD is [I]These Boots[/I], the constant beeping from Dave swearing is quite annoying.

How can I tell if my KIMB is remastered? It doesn't have any 'Bonus Tracks' so I assumed it's the original but I'm not sure now.

Also, I listened to PSBWB today for the first time in....a while. I think I forgot how great that record is.

My remastered version has the demo versions from as well, if yours does, then you probably have the remastered.

Ah. The remaster has 7 tracks on it. The original has "these boots" on it. That wasn't included in the remaster because Nancy Sinatra wanted too much money for it.

HUH? I have the remastered of KIMB and it has These Boots, and the demo versions of Mechanix, Last Rites, and The Skull Beneath The Skin.

Well, when I bought the CD it had remastered by Dave Mustaine sticker on the wrapper. Maybe he, went back and added bonus tracks to the original remastered version.
