Tapeworm 08-24-2005 01:07 AM

What should I buy?

1. Nillson - Everybody's Talkin' (some greatest hits thing) - $10
2. Neutral Milk Hotel - Aeroplane Over Sea - $31
3. Motorhead - Ace of Spades - $17
4. Blondie - Parallel Lines & Plastic Letters - $19

All in Australian dollars.

I have a limited budget. I can maybe spend 30 bucks.

Neutral Milk Hotel is the only good CD up there. But $31 is quite pricey

Iai 08-24-2005 07:50 AM

I wouldn't buy any of them tbh.

Tangy zizzle 08-24-2005 08:23 AM

I've decided to become a simger/sngwriter. I think tht;s where the money is man.

Iai 08-24-2005 08:24 AM
simger/sngwriter.
Being drunk on the net is depressing.

Tangy zizzle 08-24-2005 08:27 AM

Christ is it ever.

But seriously, singing and writing lyrics ala Busted is the way to go innit?

Iai 08-24-2005 08:34 AM

Yeah, unless your bandmate has a credibility complex.

RedMorningLight 08-24-2005 08:44 AM

Yeah, so I've read. Is their most recent one any good? This is the first album of theirs that I'll be listening to.

The most recent one isn't too bad however my favorite is their 1993 release Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby on Touch and Go. It might still be in print but if it's not, you can probably find it in a used record store.

Coldplay - X & Y (sort of)
Thelonious Monk - The Complete Blue Note Recordings
