Yeah, but it is, if you're smart, something that you put a lot of thought into before you get anything done. Piercings may not be permanent, but it is still very stupid to get one if you aren't prepared to take care of it and keep and clean.
And you also need to realize that some places will not hire you for a job if you have visible facial piercing, besides ears because everyone gets that done.

If I were to get something, I actually wouldn't mind having my tongue split.

But there is something I found out about, called subincision, which is cutting open the underside on the wang (I don't know the exact procedure) but it apparently increases the sexual experience.

Again, some people like stretching, for example, their ears just because it is something that they like. Of course, when stretching them there is a point of no return, meaning, once they have been stretched a certain amount, it is permanent and they will not return to their regular size, but anyone who is actually doing the stuff should know everything before doing it.

I have learned lots about body modification since my brother started getting into it.

It's not necessarily about individuality, though many people seem to see it that way.

Aye, I watched a program based around an african tribe whose women had lip plates, appernetley they've had it for around 400 years and was introduced when slavery began as to deter the Europeans from nabbing their women for slaves.
