Well, the program is:
Create a program that will read a 5 digit number and determine whether or not it is a palindrome (the same forwards and backwards).
I've tried a few different things, but right now I have nothing. Sorry! :D

Essays in high school?? Here in Holland you only have to write essays in College or Uni...
Although we had to write papers (small essays) in high school...

Yeah, before my teachers gave up, this was my nightly homework (give or take);

AP US History: a 5 page paper every week (sources, footnotes, etc.)
English: Read 50-70 pages in a book and write papers every other week
Theology: Nothing but busywork
Spanish: Random busywork
Physics: Lots of physics problems and essays
Calculus: 50 calc problems a night

I call "busywork" anything between 1-2 pages. 3+ is a paper.

My English thesis (my own topic of choice, so it's harder because I have to think of my own things to prove and explore) has to be at least 10 pages and no more tahn 15 and my AP History thesis has to be no less than 15 and no more than 20.

So yeah, I hate school now. :upset:

Geometry: Loads of homework, but it was never checked , i love the honor system
English: Random project that takes me about 10 minutes ti complete....about every....quarter?
American Hsitory: i got out of all homework in there by having history discussions with the teacher, also setting her up with her new boyfriend
Music Theory: nothign ever haha
Band: practice? haha no
Spanish: 2 pages of homework maybe once a week
Chem: maybe a few questions before a lab

the Dutch words we use are 'werkstuk' for paper, and 'scriptie' for essay, although the word essay is gaining popularity...
