I like WTR, but they try to show off way too much. They'd be a lot better if they focused on writing memorable riffs instead of flashy riffs.

two deathcore bands i am digging at the moment are chelsea grin and fit for an autopsy

I dislike both tbh.

Chelsea Grin irk me, they're like mini suicide silence.

i know their stuff isnt tech and its pretty generic but theyre still a guilty pleasure.

I can imagine them being a fun listen but I have whitechapel for that.

Chelsea Grin are just terrible.

Their vox are one of the redeeming qualities of the band.

I've never listened to the band but that seems to be a valid critique.

Usually awesome vocalists don't use all that shit cuz it distracts from their delivery.

CG's vocalist is probably one of the best things about the band. His vocals really do add that extra quality to the band and if you are gonna talk about layering and effects just see them live their great.

I've heard live vids and he's p much solid.

just watched the video for sonnet of the wretched or whatever and they pretty much blatantly rip off whitechapel in every way possible, except for when he rips off mitchs highs

i've played a show with them. his highs gave out several times during only high phrasing leading him to just kind of yelp.

And they don't do it as well as The Argent Dawn do.

kind of a bad band to try and emulate if you ask me

seeing Carnifex soon as they are supporting Darkest Hour but looking forward to seeing DH much more

im digging some attila right now, their new album is fun as fuck can't get enough of the title track either.
