i was really into opeth when their first album came out, i dunno like they used to be sick when damnation came out but now they sound too hardcore, with the keyboards like bleeding through and mikael yells like that fag from norma jean now, what happened to just singing without all of that emo garbage?

and whats with all of the effects on their guitars now cant they just play their guitars without hiding behind robot noises?

Akercocke is pretty average imo. I kind of like the song Leviathan on Choronzon and thats about it.
