If I had to pick, I would definitely choose to listen to Caliban over As I Lay Dying.
Meh, AILD has better songs and albums in general. Caliban has more albums but they aren't as good.
Frail Words Collapse was one of the first 'metalcore' albums I listened to, so I have a strong attachment to it.
Same here.

2muchket! 03-17-2008 12:38 PM

Eternal Lord's new album is excellent.

Wasps, O' Brothel Where Art Thou and Set Your Anchor especially.

I enjoy that as well. Better than I Killed The Prom Queen.

botb 03-17-2008 12:56 PM

Been listening to A Plea For Purging and War of Ages as of late.

Aye for sure.

I've been waiting till the actual release date to buy it, even tho there was leak.

Should be a great year for Uk metalcore this year, especially if Azriel's album is good.

Dimmu Burger 03-17-2008 01:02 PM

I've had Eternal Lord for like 3 months lol.

i am the robots 03-17-2008 01:31 PM

Oh...never heard of them.

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:14 PM

One of the guys on here is in that band. I think ICB. I'm not sure though. They're like a death metal band or something.

FreeSmells 03-17-2008 02:15 PM

WITH FAITH OR FLAMES
Thrash / Metal / Death Metal

That's what their Myspace says

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:16 PM

Yah exactly.

RetiredAt21 03-17-2008 02:20 PM

I need some new metalcore. Some GOOD metalcore. The keyword is "good." I will neg anyone who gives me a lame and/or faggy band.

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:21 PM

Well then I won't tell you anything cause you usually hate everything I like...

RetiredAt21 03-17-2008 02:22 PM

lol

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:23 PM

Ok, I'll try this. I don't know if you'll be able to find them, but I found their album on yourundergroundsound.com before they got busted. The band's called In Theory, and they actually seem like the kind of band you MIGHT like.

I'll check'em out, bro.

EDIT: you got linkage, bro?

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:25 PM

Ok. I'm not promising anything, but they seem like they might be YOUR kind of metalcore. I just hope I'm right...

If you find them, make sure to listen to Choking On Noises first.

RetiredAt21 03-17-2008 02:26 PM

Give me a link, man!

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 02:30 PM

I'm looking... I just randomly came upon them on YUGS, so I don't know where else they are.

This was the only thing I could find of them... I think it has links to listen to the music.

I was looking for some WFOF albums, but can't find them anywhere. They aren't in the Best Buy or Wikipeida databases.

uh it says "Their diverse sound has allowed them to share the stage with artist ranging from The Bled, God Forbid, Full Blown Chaos, It Dies Today, Hopesfall, Caliban, Misery Signals, Reflux, Calico Systems, Bloody Sunday , and Six Feet Under to HelloGoodbye" and they have a song called "Mascara and how it Looks in the Mixture" which sounds like a silverstein reject, i didnt exactly think "RetiredAt21 might like this"

but thats just me

That's why I told him to listen to Choking On Noise. It sounded like a song he would like.

4yearpro? 03-17-2008 06:21 PM

illpressureurhinges1 03-17-2008 06:23 PM

Caliban just like to copy better metalcore bands.

jrowa001 03-17-2008 06:28 PM

DJTeeLay 03-17-2008 07:25 PM
