I'm sitting in my adult responsibilites class suposed to be doing a resume/portfolio but Im playing guitar instead.

my dad broke my jazz bass :(......he tried to install a preamp......well I'm taking it to bass central.....

I played a highway 1 jazz bass the other day and I really liked it, I also played an Aerodyne stratocaster and liked that even more.


Shizzle seems to be working out a good bit as of lately. I've got an auditian alternative band on bass next day I have off, I've been working with this chick singer on acoustic guitar and hand percussion, and I'm supposed to be playing electric guitar with this jam band in town.

I'm looking at an aerodyne strat. The tone is the same for the most part, the pickups are just a tad bit quieter, but the body is alot ligher and comfier, and the neck feels sleek.

alien ware has taken my idea.

When I play with the jam band I always borrow the bass players strat, so I figure I might as well be cliche as hell.

If I get both the strat and the highway 1 jazz. Im totally putting a sticky note that says "Fender Stratovation" on my acoustic and starting the fender club :lol:

What is your idea?

Jody: I love my roommates strat, I play it like 2 hours a day. One of the best playing and sounding guitars that I have ever played. BTW hw1 jazzes are sweet, a friend of mine has one and it is really nice as well. Very well built, except all the knobs fell off in the first month that he had it. Other than that he has had no problems with it.

I really would like a Schecter or a Cort but I can't get to New Orleans. The only store I can get to sells Fenders, some more Fenders, and another Fender.
