Awesome. I might go check out the stuff there during the week. Cheers PLK.

Drum Phil 10-08-2005 11:56 AM

No problemo  its just behind Big W on portrack lane :)

Y'know, i dont think i ever introduced myself properly. The names maz, im about to hit 18 and im from the loverly city of middlesbrough (famous for cheap heroin and underage hookers  ) Been playing 4 years on or off. Only really got serious in the last 2 years. Play on a 1984 ludwig with a nice deep pearl snare. Mainly play punk and ska but like a bit of metal from time to time. I listen to punk, ska, hXc, classical, rock, trance and industrial :) Im a man of many traits

poppinfresh 10-08-2005 12:02 PM

haha hardcore is hXc now hahahahahha

oh uh welcome to the forums.

Jezen 10-08-2005 12:05 PM

I'm most likely going for an audition in M'bro on Tuesday. The band is offering me 4 gigs a week, for 70 quid each gig.

I could be earning 280 quid a week. Holy fark.

Drum Phil 10-08-2005 12:06 PM

haha when i say hardcore i dont mean this modern crap. Im talking old old 80's hardcore in the vain of agnostic front, minor threat and such

Well done BB. What band is it?

Jezen 10-08-2005 12:20 PM

I have no idea. This guy contacted me on musofinder (I think..) and said hes looking for a drummer. He said he regularly gigs aswell. Wait I might have the original e-mail.

*opens inbox*

Win A Rabbit 10-08-2005 12:36 PM

well i'm hung over. i tried some bacardi limon last night, it was actually really good. tasted like halls cough drops. anyways, that got me pretty messed up, then i had a colt and a nice big cigar, which got me even more messed up. everyone went home at 11, so i came home and passed out in bed while watching the chili pepper's concert i taped. woke up 3 hours later, got undressed, went to sleep. then my friend called me this morning at 9:30 to go for mcdonald's breakfast, which i haven't had in over 5 years. i got an egg mcmuffin, yum. then we went and got pictures from last night developed, and hung out at her house. now i'm at home, and i'm going to go shower right away.

Jezen 10-08-2005 12:42 PM

I got a soundclip of his recorded stuff too!

Noice. You should' ave gotten Aquarians man!

Drum Phil 10-08-2005 02:52 PM

Theres nowhere near here that sells aquarians as far as i know and i needed em pretty quick. Plus im a bit short nowadays so im not willing to stray too far from my beaten tracks. I love G2s and the coated are no exception :) I may experiment one day though

CombatWombat3 10-08-2005 02:55 PM

Alright folks, tonight is homecoming. It's going to be amazing, I'm going with my girlfriend. She's wearing a black and red dress, I'm wearing a black suitcoat, black pants, grey shirt and a red tie. I'm picking her up at 5;15, dinner is at 6:00. Afterwards, we're going to my friends house and hanging out all night with a couple friends.

Oh, and my band got 3rd last night in our school talent show. We were REALLY surprised, it was a good time though. The only bad thing was, about 4 hours before we performed I got stung by a bee on the palm of my hand, kinda near the thumb. So it hurt like a bitch while playing.

Anyway, wish me luck tonight.

Drum Phil 10-08-2005 03:08 PM

Good luck man. Use protection ;) haha oj but hey, have a nice night and treat her like a princess :)

Juicy_Forlorn 10-08-2005 03:10 PM

My school doesn't even have homecoming :(
We're too small and crappy of a school to have stuff.

Haha, I treat her like a princess anyways. SHe is truly amazing, I'm really lucky to have her. I'll post pictures if I get any decent ones. And I don't have to worry about using protection, we're not into that sorta stuff (yet).

yay it feels good to be typing in this little white box again! The link thing would make since but i dont recall clicking anything.... thanks sic and BB and wrathchild for asking for me.

Win A Rabbit 10-08-2005 03:54 PM

no problemo, my friend.

well my mom's finally leaving, i can finally practice drums, yay. i hate practicing when my family's home because our basement has no soundproofing whatsoever at the moment, so i feel guilty that no one else can really watch tv, hear the phone ring, listen to music, etc. so i just wait until they leave before i sit behind my kit. me and my dad are going to be finishing the basement right away, when it snows.

my hands smell like potatoes. i was peeling them at my friends house (i'm amazing at peeling potatoes by the way) and i have that smell on my hands. i washed them twice, and showered, but i can still smell potatoes.
