I've only ever heard Beautiful Freak, and I'm finishing my first listen now. It's not great, but it is charming and occasionally really neat.

Little Man being Erased 11-09-2005 05:34 PM

I was thinking about picking up either that, or Electro-shock Blues.

The Great Decay 11-09-2005 05:59 PM

I think I've seen that on soulseek before. I need to download it.

-Ah! Arve Henriksen just appeared on one of the tracks ... beautiful.

Here, listen and watch this video featuring a song off this record. The music is gorgeous and at times the video can be quite captivating.

Zappa 11-10-2005 04:25 PM

No I haven't. I didn't think much of On My Way until today, I only thought it had a couple of half decent songs, nothing more but my opinion of it has gone up alot since then. I might get Sha Sha if I can get my hands on a copy.

Little Man being Erased 11-10-2005 04:40 PM

Yeah, I've probably only listened to On My Way a few times. I might give it another chance.

You should, I had only listened to it two or three, maybe four times before I decided it was a pretty decent album.

Happymeal 11-10-2005 06:08 PM

My first listen to Dälek was forgettable but now he's anything but.

In contrast, I've listened to a buttload of music this week.

Last night:
Talking Heads - Remain in Light
Massive Attack - Mezzanine

This morning:
The White Stripes - The White Stripes
The White Stripes - De Stijl
The White Stripes - White Blood Cells

I really enjoy those White Stripes albums.
