2,737 plays since March =/

I hope those missing plays don't scrobble, I left my computer playing at Woodsmoke by Nest last night and forgot to turn it off and all sorts of sh!t played.

Stormrider 08-28-2007 11:48 AM

You can always delete them though.

Angmar 08-28-2007 11:52 AM

Yeah I know, but I'm lazy and I'd just assume not have to do it :p

Does anybody know how to set up last.fm to submit your recently played iPod tracks? How do I submit all the music I listen to on my iPod without keeping my iPod plugged into my computer 24/7? Do I need a special playlist or anything like that, or do I need to set something up in the last.fm player's preferences?

Doesn't it just add the plays whenever you plug your Ipod in? Like while your out and about and say you listen to 200 songs, wouldn't they just get added to your plays when you come home and plug it in?

iSproggler or something. Theres a special program on last.fm for that.

Angmar 08-28-2007 12:12 PM

Yeah but is he asking about how Isproggler updates without having your Ipod plugged in?

Anglachel 08-28-2007 12:15 PM

Oh

Do iPods have some sort of wireless port or something?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-28-2007 12:19 PM

Your iPod needs to be plugged in, but it also caches everything you've played from your iPod and then just submits x number of tracks in one batch.

And the standard AS program is capable of this now. iSproggler sucks anyway.

Angmar 08-28-2007 12:26 PM

I don't even bother with it.

TojesDolan 08-28-2007 01:30 PM

You can use last.fm software to send your recently played tracks on ipod. The problem i, you have to let iTunes manage your library (which sucks highly).

Otherwise, that's the best way so far.

masada 08-28-2007 02:56 PM

why does it matter so much

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-28-2007 04:32 PM

It just syncs everything in your iTunes to your pod. I don't see what the big deal is unless you're one of those freaks with enouhg stuff to fill like 7 pods.

masada 08-28-2007 04:33 PM

omg this wont track on my lastfm WHAT AM I TO DO WITH MY LIFE??!!?1

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-28-2007 04:35 PM

idk it just asked me if I would enjoy my pod scrobbled and I said 'sure' and it's done it ever since man.

I never thought a simple question would provoke an answer designed only to pick a fight but hey whatever.

Truth is I hardly ever listen to my iTunes as much as my iPod and I assume that since the point of the last.fm thread is to encourage the people who like tracking their interests in such a way it would be useful to have those tracks scrobbed.

Well yeah. My iPod is 15 gigs, and I have 130 gigs of music.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-28-2007 04:39 PM
thats a lot of bad music

Yeah no kidding.
Jeez. The first thing I come back to is an advertisement for thirty dollar leggings above the sputnik homepage, the second are two random people passing random judgment on me.

In addition, I just had to go to Best Buy and purchase a Nintendo Wii for my little brother. Half with my own money. His birthday is not for another 10 months, mine is in a week.

A warm, warm welcome indeed.

Lunch 08-28-2007 06:16 PM
